        price beat with OW?

        • +1

          They’ll probably only do if in stock. Which doesn’t seem like it is

        • Officeworks would price match, but the store in Sydney with stock was Clarence St.
          I was able to use my employer’s rewards program to get 5% off at JB (who price matched), so I ended up with one for $652 … for Aussie stock.

          Reasonable, considering my daughter needs a battery and screen on her 6S.
          The changeover price is now not so eye watering, and these things on sale hold their value.

          • @seedyrom: Hey i was just wondering how knew that the Sydney store was the only store with stock? Would love to also get a price match deal but wondering if i would have to go to the same JB store for it

    Old? The days when a phone was outdated in 2 years are gone.
    Even the 6S and SE will be getting IOS13, and Apple would not do that if they did not run it well.

    But the price!? Seems an awful lot for a used phone.

      "Apple would not do that if they did not run it well."

      I like iPhones but that is utter BS. Every outdated model runs like shit on its highest supported version. But you don't get much choice because if you stay on the older version you won't be able to update your apps.

        I'm no Apple expert, but I think they fixed that in IOS12.
        The 6 only has 1GB ram, so definitely ready for retirement, but is ok now.

        • IOS12 does run better on some older devices, but that doesn't help for e.g. iPad2, iPhone4.

            @coxymla: I have an iPad 3 running ios9. Can't complain. I guess it varies.

    I've had 2 friends purchase iPhones from Kogan recently and it looks like they received the Japanese model which doesn't allow you to silence the camera shutter sound. So bear this in mind if you're thinking of buying one as it may affect your resale value down the track.

    Due to the Japan’s love of upskirting. Strange to see signs saying “no upskirting allowed” at train stations.

  • They have some ex-demo models as well, are they any good?
