This or the Umidigi F1 Play?

    • This.

    • F1 Play has Band 28 - if that's your thing. Oh and gg99 seems to like the camera - a lot - compares it to an iPhone X

      • Also 6G ram and bigger battery

      • And NFC on F1 Play too.

    • I was one of the unlucky ones who bought the umidigi a5 pro in the pre launch sale, but one of the lucky ones to have cancelled and got a refund. Why? Read the reviews on the camera and you'll know why. Lost my trust in this company.

      • The cam on the a5 isnt the same as the F1 play though

Heard so many bad things about this phone. I think will skip this one and look at Mi 9T or better.

Such as? I have the note 5 and love it

      • 2 X Note 5's here and same…

The best phone in this price category. It even beats some of the more expensive 'sham'sungs out there. And if you' ve ever used the MIUI os, you'll never move to another.

      • I'm a fan of MIUI too. Many prefer pure android but I find that MIUI seems to make the "shoe fit" just that bit better. Very stable and easy to use.

        • I have an Android One device, and I use the Poco Launcher on top of it. But I still miss the little extras MIUI gives you. Like turning off the flash light with the power button. Something so simple and intuitive.

You don't know what you got until it's gone.

        • I'm considering installing the MIUI.eu ROM on my Xiaomi phone. I'm happy enough with the stability of the OS, however I don't like that I started getting ads and a lot of the stock apps are unused/unwanted.

Here is a link for more info: https://xiaomi.eu/community/

    • Im going to jump in here and say that i have been looking at xiaomi phones pretty much non stop for the last 4 days.
There has been nothing bad really said about this phone other then the camera could be better, infact all reviews on this phone is that it is fantastic
Not sure where you've heard all these bad things?

You're also comparing a 280 dollar mid range phone with a 500 flag ship phone
      Kinda doesn't make sense

Still waiting for my order placed on June 23rd

  • Redmi note 7 pro for same price on an indian website.

    • The Indian one is a different model variant, lesser camera, not sure what band support either

      • There are 2 variants being sold in india through the official Mi site. The redmi note 7 and the note 7 pro. Both variants are available in different combinations of RAM & ROM. The note 7 pro has the same cameras as this one. It just has a better soc the SD675, compared to the SD 660 on this. The SD675 is based on the 11nm fabrication process and has a better gpu, so a better value for money if you can get a hand on one.

Same variant. Same camera… I travel to India few times a year and pick up stuff from flipkart

    • "Indian website". Scam alert!

      • The Mi official site, a scam, right?

  • Nice to see this one has the correct bands listed, my GearBest one I bought for about this price said B28 but..

The Global M1901F7G doesn't have B28, only M1901F7H does (but good luck finding any advertisement stating the model number)

    See official FCC certification detailing actual band support here;
    https://fccid.io/document.php?id=4142161

Great phone otherwise for $320 ($185.99 usd + postage + GST), still happy with it compared to my Moto Z Play

    • You can get the H version of RN7 from B&H Photo New York. It has been confirmed by a buyer that it is the H version. Only had the 4/64 version last time I looked.
Walmart in the US was also selling the H version too but no overseas orders taken.

    Gearbest don't offer "deals" nowadays.

    • What's toby's reputation? Is it true Australian stock?

      • +2

I've bought from Toby before. It took just over a week to arrive.

Its not Australian stock but they don't say it is to begin with.

      • Bought the 4GB 64GB from Tobydeals $256 delivered
Took just over a week to be delivered NO GST
Does Gearbest charge GST as they have 4GB 128GB same price as gearbest

        • Yes, GST is added during checkout

      • I've ordered a couple of phones from em. No probs whatsoever. Delivered in 4-5 working days.

  • Been reading reviews on the Note 7 PRO .. can we get them? toby's doesnt seem to stock them?

  • It's 275aud using code BG8N7128
I'm not sure if that's before or after GST

    • It says "doesn't work"

      • Sorry, I failed to mention that was on the BangGood site.

  • Just bought it for $304.54 including assurance fee of roughly $9. hope to receive it soon. thanks OzP

  • Has the coupon expired?
I'm getting "Sorry, the current item(s) can't use this coupon."

    • Current coupon is expired, found another coupon GBN74128BLUE which is actually cheaper for the blue colour have updated OP

      • Appreciate the help
but the coupons hate me :(

I'm getting this with the new code

You would be better not to use coupon because the current price is more cost effective.

        Any other ideas/coupons?

        • Coupon was working yesterday not sure why it isn't today. Pretty sure another will pop up soon, will let you know.

Also there is coupon GBN7332BLUE for 3GB 32GB version reducing the price to AU $263.99.

          • @adr8: All good, I bought from tobydeals, this is the price without coupon
            Blue: 284.05 AUD
            Black: 280.25 AUD

Figure I could do without the hassle right now.

            Thanks for all your help
