30% off the Gen 2 ThinkPad X1 Extreme with code INTRO. Also includes 30% off any additions you make during customisation. No reviews yet however hoping they roll out before 08 Aug when this deal ends. Also at this stage no option for i5 9300 or 9400. I think I saw these processors available yesterday so hoping they're back as options next week.

  • Got a Gen1 6C X1E + 16GBRAM + 1TB HDD FHD for $2300 in April with 3YR warranty. Much better value

Chinese want us to folk over $2000 for low spec laptop. LoL

  • Anyone know what would be the realistic shipping time for this with and without customisation?

  • worth it to upgrade from fullhd to fullhd hdr400 500 nits ?

    • That's what I'm holding out for with the reviews. I'd say it would be so, the extra 200 nits brightness would be good, and it falls under the 30% off as well so only a $70 upgrade

  • Came across L340 from Lenovo any good ?

    https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/laptops/ideapad/ideapad-l-serie…

    @ 1279 i could get

    • Intel Core i5-9300H
    • Windows 10 Home
    • 8GB DDR4
    • 1TB HDD 5400RPM
    • 15.6" FHD IPS
    • GeForce GTX 1650 4GB

    Plus a 50% off 3YR depot warranty.

    • Good internal hardware for the price however I wouldn't be too sure about the screen, battery life, build quality and it's 0.5KG heavier as well. Also no Thunderbolt 3 if that's important to you.

    • I personally wouldn't buy a L series laptop but if you're on a budget and it's gonna live on a desk then it will probably be fine. You will want to buy a SSD for it and reinstall Windows.
