Ballast Point Fathom IPA 6-Pack $18/$19 (Save $8.99/$9.49) @ Dan Murphy’s (Member Offer)

120

For all the IPA drinkers out there, this is a reasonable price on a pretty solid ale. Dan Murphy's membership required.

Fathom IPA highlights the favourite characteristics of the west-coast IPA style. This crisp and clean brew features a touch of malt on the surface with an ocean of zesty orange and piney hops below. The result is a refreshing, easy drinking IPA with just the right amount of depth.

  • Thanks, saying $18 per 6 for me in WA.

  • Just order. Thank

  • I have worked my way up from Little Creatures, which at the time thought was the bee’s knees, to Hawker IPA, which I then thought was the best ever, to now Fixation IPA which is clearly my favourite.

Any other ‘must try’ recommendations out there?

My favourite "value for money" IPA has always been Pirate Life. But with this one at $18/19 I can assure you PL won't be in my fridge (at least in the short-term). But I do love big & bold flavours (usually with a high ABV); So when I want to treat myself the PL IIPA and Modus Operandi Former Tenant Red IPA are fantastic, but a little on the pricey side.

      PL IIPA
      MO Red IPA

      • Finally Dan is selling modus beers.
Former tenant is my favorite for sure. Pirate life mosaic is very good as well.

Balter IPA. Pirate Life is good but owned by multinational company so flavour may change. Also Rocks Brewing Conviction IPA is great if you can find it.

It’s been on since July. Not bad but nowhere near their Sculpin they had on a few months ago.

  • Picked up a six pack. Not as decent as sculpin
