I have had this phone for over a year now its been great, best phone I have ever had and that's with previous phones being iPhone 7 plus, galaxy 8, galaxy 7, galaxy 6 edge.

at around the same price, the Xiaomi Play Mi has polycarbonate body, extra 1GB of RAM and extra 32GB of storage; But lacks slow motion camera, band 28 and NFC. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, for about $70 extra will give you another 1000mAh of battery and an extra 1" of screen; but still lacks band 28 and NFC.

The Asus Zenfone 4 is also around $200 at the moment. It has an extra 1GB of RAM, extra 32GB of storage, colour LED notifications and extra 300mAh of battery. On the downside, is the Antutu score of 71.200 vs 90.551 for the Nokia. It comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat but that can be upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie

Gray import just means it’s imported, Don’t expect a warranty and won’t likely come with a aus power plug but as a ozbargainer I am sure you already have a blitzwolf or tronsmart charger. (Any charger block that you already use to charge your phone will charge this and this should already have a cable that will work fine)

If you state you are buying it from Australia TD will send the correct adapter for it.
Actually comes with a (very solid!) adapter which handles the 3amp fastcharge easily.

Are these pre-owned/ ex demo? What's the deal with no hands free? Does Nokia sell these without handsfree or do tobydeal take those out and reseal the boxes?
The site states new in box. My guess is Nokia know most people have a tech draw filled with unused hands free ear buds so they decided not to include them. For those without an overflowing tech draw, ask your friendly neighbourhood nerd and you will be pelted with free buds, USB cables and chargers :)
Also bought 2 phones lately from Tobydeals. They have really upped their customer service game and as such I would have zero problem ordering from them again. Their service is now very good.
I have bought 4 x Nokia 5.1 plus and they all block apps like WhatsApp Viber and we chat running in the background to increase battery power. So I don't get any notification from these app anymore. Very annoying. Now I want to buy another phone to replaCe NOKIA. Unless someone has a solution to remedy the problem
Usually you can fix that in the app or battery settings. Turn off battery optimisation for the apps that keep getting killed

I've never broken a screen and I use armored cases. Do screen protectors do anything useful?
Depends on how u drop your phone. The height, what kind of surface, the angle…
My phone lives in my hand, on my desk (with home made mount) or in a phone pouch attached to my belt. Maybe screen protectors aren't aimed at me.

@hawkeye93: I've never scratched a phone screen. My smart watch has a few light scratches so if I ever buy another one I'll get a screen protector for that

Having said that, there was an issue with the screen protector that it doesn't properly stick on the corners. Anybody else faced this issue? Not complaining, just curious if I put it on incorrectly or is the protector has some issue?

I laughed when I saw that my son's came with the handsfree cable also. Damn those earbuds looked painful though.
I got mine today too. I got the hands free and a US style charger with an adaptor block. The charger isn't pretty, but it works.

I bought this case. It suits me as my phone lives in a belt-mounted phone pouch. The groves make it very easy to hold on to. The stand is a bit stiff and feels like it will soon break, but I rarely use them.
Everyone hates on tobydeals but I have bought 2 of these phones from them, they've arrived in 10 days, great phone for a great price.
