  • Hello, what do you mean stack?

Does that mean if we purchase through the app its 15% +10% cashback?

    • 10% off your purchase, 15% Cashback

    FAST10 has expired???

Extra 10% off sitewide offer is valid from 4pm - 12pm.
There's always someone who doesn't read properly in these threads.

So Cash Rewards is offering 15% discount until 4pm and then back to 5% after that? And then Groupon is offering 10% after 4pm? So how can you stack if one finishes when the other starts? Am I missing something here?

    • +3

Who says that the Cash Rewards offer ends at 4pm? If you want to make use of both discounts you have to wait until 4pm before you buy.

  • Lost track of these constant Groupon discount these days. What's the highest discount site wide it got before?

Cash Rewards have amended their site. It did say 15% until 4pm. So yes I agree now. At 4pm you can stack 15% cashrewards with 10% groupon.

  • Would this stack with ShopBack$2 ozbargain exclusive and normal cashback %?

    • +2

This deal is for Cashrewards, not Shopback

      • Thanks heaps for pointing it out, had a brain fade and didn’t read properly.

  • I tried purchasing through the app. Took me to the Groupon app. But no tracking???

    • Check your spam folder?

Might get better off using shopback as there is $2 cashback..

  • Shouldn't the link for this be the cashrewards page? Bit confusing otherwise.

And I'm guessing it starts at 4pm and expires at 12am, which is strange because the code FAST10 is working now. So maybe its not that, but instead they mixed up the start and finish time, so it starts at 12pm and finishes at 4pm.

Eh, whatever. I've ordered using the code. If it gets rejected its only a dollar

  • Works fine for me on the purchase I just made.

Only messy bit was some new Cashrewards feature to insert codes that used every code except this one!

  • Maximum discount on Groupon with this code is $40. So, if you purchase anything for more than $400, e.g. travel deals, hotel stays, etc. you won't get 10% off but only $40.
Hopefully you can still get 15% cashback from Cashrewards.
Didn't see anything saying about cashback limit.
    Perhaps Rep needs to confirm.

    • I'd like to know about the cashback limit for cash rewards as well. Is it capped like the $40 discount cap by Groupon?

I’ve bought $900 travel before and got full cashback amount but always capped at $40 from Groupon via codes

  • man the dirty mango tea i ordered tast so crap….

how you leave reviews on groupon

    • They email you a link. Which place was it? Don't forget to do a zomato review too.

  • App only, or desktop too?

  • Does cashback work if we pay with groupon credit? Have some from past promo

  • Does anyone know how to get the discount to apply to more than 1 Event cinema ticket
    ?

  • Also wondering is Event cinema tickets eligible for cashback?

Groupon has been doing a dodgy of late by advertising over-inflated prices versus the "true price" to perceive good value/discount it offers.

For example, was looking at this deal which has one meal with soft drink quoted at $20.50. A quick google search reveals that the menu options are available as their lunch deal at $12 in total ($11, add a can of soft drink for $1!). At $9.90 it's only a 17.5% discount and not the whopping 52% discount.

Check the deals very carefully and purchase only if it's a valid deal. Otherwise, shame on Groupon for misleading advertising!

  • I went to make a booking using one of my Groupon vouchers, only to find that Groupon won't let me use it due to "merchant closure" despite the fact the resturant is definitely alive and well.
Now I have no idea what to do. Guess I got screwed over by Groupon.
