[VIC] 20W Boyle Hot Melt Glue Gun $5.53 (Save $16.46) @ Bunnings (Nunawading)

170

Just picked this up from the silicone aisle at Bunnings Nunawading, it comes with 2 mini glue sticks. I was charged full price of $21.99 initially, but they refunded the difference after I showed them a photo of the discounted price tag. There was around 4-5 still available at the time.

Discounted price only available in store, online store still showing full price https://www.bunnings.com.au/boyle-20w-hot-melt-paint-splash-…

  • I highly recommend anyone that hasn't already bought a glue gun to get one. I use my glue for everything and now wonder why I hadn't bought one earlier.

    • I got a Bosch cordless lithium ion one. Its great but I find that the glue isn't the strongest. Initial bonds are good but often don't last. Any recommendations on stronger glue sticks?

  • this seller on ebay sells 100PCS 7*100 mm for $7.45 delivered.

my kids went through a hell of a lot of glue sticks for school projects and playing/creating.

  • Sort of price you get any day of the week from your $2 or Red dot shop.

    • +1

10w glue guns are common at this price point, but this is the cheapest 20w Ive seen so far. would love to know where they are regularly at this price though :)

Whats the difference? 30sec faster heat up?

        • higher flow rate

  • Can you glue on coat or cloth? Will they become hardened after wash?

    Cheers,

    • Yes goes hard. Back to its original state after it's melted through the gun. The glue isn't like epoxy. On cloth probably not ideal.
