I've been a bit tempted to get this insurance for a while now, and noticed that in one of the information emails to do with the United energy around the bay there was a link to a bonus 6 months coverage for the same price

  Mate is in hospital with six broken ribs and a broken shoulder after a MTB crash. This insurance would have been beneficial, it has some good benefits.
  Can't see where the cheaper price is though?…oh I see it 18 months for the price of 12….should probably be in title.

  I have the Qld version of this. If it is similar insurance, it covers you for accidents if you are travelling to and from going for a cycle as well. Since we travel with our commuter bikes in the boot of the car, this means we have extra cover for us if we have an accident in the car.

  I think we pay $120-130 a year for a family /household membership.

  For any damage to another person’s property or injury caused to them, you’ll just need to pay the first $1,000
