This is better than what Optus site can offer.

I am assuming this is a dual sims like the one on Optus site. not specified on the Catalogue.

    • I am commenting with a P30, it is dual Sims.

      • The one u r commenting from is HN version ?

        • -1

Any of you thought of the cost of cracked screen change? Almost the same as the phone, sometimes higher!

  • +8

To give context to what $0 means, I am on 80gb for $40 a month Optus. I've seen previous deals for $35, however mine was the first time with included roaming.

  • +2

Good deal. I wish these plans were compatible with the 1 year handset trade in offer Optus allow

    • Business still business.

Not here in AUS - yet. Current ban is between the US and Huawei through President Trump's executive order. Our current ruling is only to preventHuawei from our upcoming 5G internal infrastructure. Huawei devices can still be purchased and used here without issue legally, keeping in mind that the US ban prevents Huawei working with Google to ensure device updates and security updates are rolled out to its devices - which if the exec order isn't lifted is a huge security risk for Huawei users in the long run. I'm a Huawei Mate20 pro owner, absolutely love the phone - however new buyer's beware and know the risk if the ban is permanent… Worth a read up on the story.

      • +2

Wasn't the ban lifted like 2 weeks ago

        • +3

Not really. Trump announced that, then the Treasury Department “clarified” that it wasn’t lifted. Now nobody knows what’s happening.

        • +2

          No. https://www.cnet.com/news/huawei-ban-full-timeline-on-how-an…

You must be talking about the license deal, which is currently all talk and no action.

      • -1

Why are we preventing it from our 5G infrastructure is a point to note .

      • +1

Thanks for explaining. I have no idea why people downvoted 9 times LMAO! I was genuinely asking how I would be affected if i was to buy this LOL

        • I'm not sure why people are down-voting you either? No problems!

  • +5

I thought this was $0.01 again

  • +6

Good deal but i just donno if i wanna lock in for 24-months - i feel like i got 12-16months in and the value or plans has changed loads!

    • +3

You can get better plans when Kogan have their massive sales. For a bundle, this is a good deal because of the massive 80GB, but 24months is eternity when it comes to evolving tech and updated plans.

  • What's a brand new s9+ worth these days?

    • +1

$1349 on Official site - so around $1100 for 64gb Aust.Version if you search around for specials.

    • +1

My dad got one of the referbished ones posted here a while back for just over 500 and it's absolutely mint condition.

  • OP, I can only see the Samsung S9+ and Pixel 3XL both for $69 per month instead of $59 for S9+ for $59 and Pixel 3XL for $65.

Maybe I'm not reading it right, ( looking at Optus.com.au )?

    • +3

You're not reading the OP right. Subject line says it's in-store at Harvey Norman.

    • -1

Why are you looking at the Optus site? This is a Harvey Norman deal.

      • Because OP said "other options on Optus site for $65 per month:" so that's where I looked. I also looked at HN links.

  • +1

not sure if this is applicable - Free GT Watch (scroll down on the site to see the offer). haven't had a change to visit HN store yet.

Has anyone redeemed the watch with this deal?

  • If i head to the us, i can't use this phone?

    • ofc

    • +1

      ofc you can

  • +2

Struggling to see where the value in this deal is.

  • +4

I got this phone at JB for $55pm on a 12 month plan with Telstra during mother's day promotion. This isn't a great price and your stuck on a 24 month contract.

    • +1

Definitely the P30 and not P20?

  • -1

Google Pixel 3 with 30gb of data for $59 per month

For reference, the Pixel 2 XL was given for $59/month in December and Feb/March.
It's now August, so probably better to wait until the new release (in early October) as prices will decrease further then.

  • Saw this advertised in Harvey Norman but wasn't sure if that was a good deal

    • It's quite average in my opinion

  • -4

I can't believe that anyone is even thinking about getting a Hawaii phone, not after all the fuss.

  • Does this include 4gb roaming?

    • don't think so, you'll need the $105 phone plan for that. Phone plan and Sim only plan are not the same.

  • what happen when data usage is over the limit with optus now?

    • $10/gb
