Hi all. We've added Caltex to our growing list of Visa In-Store merchants. Make any transaction via our In-Store Visa program and receive $5 Cashback. There is a $50 minimum spend required and no product exclusions. Applies to 750+ Caltex Petrol Stations nationally excluding Woolworths branded Caltex outlets (unless specifically listed). Offer terms:

(1) Link your Visa card to your Cashrewards account.
(2) Activate the offer at any time before purchasing.
(3) Ensure the store is listed as one of the participating outlets.
(4) Pay in-store (not at pump) with the activated Visa card, or with associated Apple or Google Pay wallets.
(5) Payment must be made by 'tapping' or choosing the 'Credit' option. 'Savings' or 'Cheque' will not track.
(6) At least $50 must be spent to be eligible for Cashback. This can be fuel and/or a combination of any in-store goods.
(7) Cashback is eligible on the first 3 transactions only. Subsequent transactions may track to your account but will be declined at a later date.
(8) Offer is valid at 750+ selected Caltex store locations nationally, excluding Woolworths branded Caltex stores.
(9) Offer must be activated and redeemed by 7th September, 2019.
(10) Tracking time varies from instant to 14 days, depending on merchant terminal and associated bank.

Your Visa card must be an Australian issued card. This includes (but is not limited to) Visa Credit cards, Visa Debit cards and Visa Pre-paid cards. Visa-branded gift cards or cards that have expired, have been cancelled or are otherwise invalid, are not eligible.

  • My first order got tracked but my second order didnt seem to :(, it was the day before i flew out and have been waiting for an email and never came through. It also doesnt seem to state it on the website but my first one is visible on the website and i got an email about tracking the same day i believe.

    Had two transactions not track now. Logged a ticket with CR providing my bank statement of the first transaction, but they have requested a receipt. I don't have receipts as there was nothing in the terms stating I had to retain it. Not overly impressed so far.

      Hi TheDangerStomp. All cashback claims require a receipt/invoice. It’s required to (1) validate the purchase was made at one of the participating outlets, (2) that the card matches the one enrolled on CR, (3) that the purchase was made after activation of the offer.     Just wanna say a big thanks to TA for following up with my claim today so that Apple Pay was eligible and not rejected.

  • How can we be certain that VISA will not share my transaction details outside of the "Eligible Retailer" list?
    Is there a T&C or Privacy Policy from VISA in this regard?

  • So does the expiry date of the 7th signify when the last purchase can be made, or when payment must clear the bank by?

  • My first transaction tracked within 5-10 minutes of leaving the servo, the second one hasn't tracked after 10 days.

        Don't have a paper invoice, just a screenshot from the bank, which I don't think is gonna cut it as proof.

        I don't know why one tracked in 5 minutes and another never tracked?

        • If it was the same servo, makes no sense at all, unless you used a different card for payment or inadvertently deactivated the card from CR. What we need in order to lodge the claim is the invoice, or at the very least a screenshot of your statement that shows the last 4 digits and the servo name (address).   • 3 of my transactions were tracked, but they were declined - I bought gift cards at the store, there was nothing in terms to say gift cards cannot be purchased??

    3 on my other card is still pending, they were all purchased on the same day - not sure why the estimated approval date is different

    • Cashback is eligible on the first 3 transactions only. Subsequent transactions may track to your account but will be declined at a later date.

  • Hi TA, my 2 purchases also not tracked. I've lodged 2 claims and today a member service team told me that the Caltex Hughes (in ACT) is not in the participating list which I'm 100% sure that it's wrong - I've checked that list at least 3 times to make sure I shopped at the correct store. The Caltex offer on CR has been taken down and now I have no proof for that. Could you help?
