Britax Safe N Sound Platinum Pro+ Plus (Grey, Black) $521.10 C&C /+ $9 Delivery @ Baby Bunting eBay

130
PANTSUIT

I thought I'd share this with new parents to be, like ourselves.

I found the best deal on a Britax Premium Pro+ Plus at Baby Bunting's eBay store for $521.10 click and collect (or + $9 for postage). Plus get an additional 1% cashback if you purchase via the eBay app.

This is the top of the range child car seat with memory foam. It has excellent reviews and is the top safest car seat 2019 from SCEP.

This is the cheapest deal I've ever seen. I was at the Baby Expo Perth to purchase a baby seat yesterday and looking at the Britax Millenia+ for $549 (which is Britax's second top range car seat with memory foam). The Britax Premium Pro+ was $599. Just the normal prices that Baby Bunting usually sells them for.

Use the PANTSUIT eBay code to get the 10% off price. (PINEAPPLES still works, until 15 Aug 24:00AEST, but you get at most 10% off.)

There are other deals on other car seats but I was only looking at the Britax Millenia+ and Platinum Pro+ models.

  • Hmm tried it on sns Maxi Guard and the discount was just $10.

I have already the millennia and another maxi guard. They're good car seats.

    • I've added the link to the Original Coupon Deal to the end of this deal.

      Basically:

      Spend $100 - $499 and save $10
      Spend $500 - $999 and save $50
Spend $1000 or more and save $100

The Maxi Guards are $449\$499 so you only get $10 off.

        Thanks

        • Try the code PANTSUIT

          • @Raiden22: Yep. Just checked and it works on all five Maxi Guard listings

Refuse to buy anything of note there ever again. Were insisting it's a legal requirement with different seats etc etc where another one of their stores told me completely the opposite as to what's needed.

Sure as hell don't need to spend that much on a seat either.

    • I agree, it's a lot of money for a 0-4 seat but I'd always recommend ERF for 30+ months.
A lot of parents probably spend more than necessary on seats (especially with their first child) but if something ever happens and the seat is inadequate, you'll regret it for the rest of your life.

Just something worth noting, check your insurance covers the full cost of the seat if you're involved in an accident (even if the seat does not appear damaged) as many policies will cap it at around $500 or so.

If you don't mind an "older" seat, it's hard to go past the Infa Vogue at $239, down from $600+. Also ERF for 30+ months.

      • no isofix, is that right?

        • +1

Correct. I guess some may want ISOFIX in a 0-4 seat but I don't place a priority on it. All our seats are 0-8 so I don't even look for it anymore.
A properly fitted lap/sash seat is just as good, I only see a benefit in ISOFIX if you're moving the seat between cars all the time or can't fit a regular seat properly. Learn how to install them properly, or have it installed for you if it's staying in the one car and they'll be the same safety wise.

      • For the record, an unlicensed twat drove into the back of my wife's car, toddler in the back, the kmart/target seat was perfectly fine. No issues whatsoever.

As long as it's Australian standards etc etc

Baby Bunting really prey on first time parents. I had better experiences with babys r us.

      What was a legal requirement?

      • compulsory rear facing for 1st XX months

        • They also insisted these 0 to whatever year seats weren't allowed and suitable at all. The smart thing is to rent a capsule if your baby requires, though it's more if you wanna ensure they stay asleep so not 'compulsory' and buy a seat that can change directions when they are bigger. Baby Bunting were insisting to me I needed multiple….

          • @scuderiarmani: i bought one from gumtree, used it for 6 months, then flipped it for the price I paid..

  • I have both the Platinum Pro and Graphene - both are excellent. Would recommend.

  • waiting for millenia… i think its better value for money

    • It's $404.10 C&C from babybunting eBay store. They've changed the ebay discount code.

      PANTSUIT

    Congratulations OP

    • Thank you.

  • Looks like Ebay discount code has changed to PANTSUIT.

Previous code PINEAPPLES still works but some items has bigger discount with PANTSUIT.

    • In fact, unless the item is priced $100-$100.09, $500-$500.09, or $1000-$1000.09, PANTSUIT will give a bigger discount than PINEAPPLES (and exactly the same otherwise). I'm assuming worst case rounding, of course 😉

That, and given that PINEAPPLES expires tomorrow at midnight means we only ever1 need use the PANTSUIT code. (I've updated the deal to reflect this.)

      1. Unless of course there are any items that only PINEAPPLES applies to, or PANTSUIT expires tonight.

      • Checked with eBay customer service and they confirmed 31st October as the expiry date.

      • Nice work cheers for the update. I hope help new parents to be with setting up for their new baby like us and I know how quickly things adds up with a lot of items needing to prepare for a new born for the first time.

I'm fortunate enough for friends helping with pram and bassinet.

I used "PINEAPPLES" code to purchase the car seat and paid $7.50 more. I didn't know about the 2nd discount code as it wasn't advertised in the ebay item. Does ebay do price correction refund?

        • I don't use eBay much so I wouldn't know. However, given how they treat buyers as second rate citizens, I would doubt it very much.

A tip for next time, go to the eBay store deals page and try all the current, higher valued, codes to see if any will work. (Try the inappropriate codes as well, as eBay regularly stuffs up and codes work with products that they shouldn't.)
