          Must be desperate to use it for negative gain items when plenty of positive gain stuff around .

          Deal really for guys with no clue of happenings and doesn't belong here and I mean for using a positive % CC .

                how does a new prepaid Mastercard have no value?

                if 1000 Flybuys points is worth 5 Flybuys Dollars or valued at $5, then there's no loss

                if you buy a JB Hi-Fi gift card but don't shop there so can't use it, then that's a 100% loss in value - a negative gain item? :)

      Like "gift" cards, they make all their money from the high rate of non-redemption.
      So factor in the chance that you will not use it all before expiry. Everyone underestimates this.

    These are only really worthwhile if they are 2k points, and they quite often are.
    Although if you need to buy someone a gift then its alright, but seriously 1k points is stingy AF

      The 2k points are usually for the $100 card only.
