Awesome price drop on this 4k/Bluray combo.
Grab it before the price goes back up to $23.

This is part of the 2 for $40 offer so best not to have this in the cart with any other 4k releases as part of that offer!

  • Will this play on a PS3 I don't have a blue ray player right now.

    • +2

Friend, no. Wont play on a ps4 either. Only xboxone can (in addition to normal 4k players).

      • +7

Yes you can play the Bluray disc through the PS3.
The 4k disc you'll have to use a 4k player or an Xbox One S/X

Thanks. Will go for the DVD for $6 down from $13.50

        • +7

Buy the 4K/blu ray combo for the extra $3. You can play the standard blu-ray in your PS3 and then have the 4K for when you upgrade someday. Don’t get the DVD, the quality will be horrendous in comparison.

@mr_me450: Pay'd the extra you must be reading my thoughts.

    • PS3 is a bluray player.

      • The op was saying it does not play 4K blu rays.

        • I can't see that written anywhere. Only 4k/bluray combo.

          • @Ulysses31: The PS3 only has a bluray drive, it won't play 4Ks. This is also true for the PS4.

            • @theguyrules: Yes. I'm aware.
I responded to 'THREE', saying it's IS a bluray player. So it WILL play the combo disc mentioned in the deal. I saw no mention in the original post.

It really doesn't warrant all this muddy water.

  • Got 1 thx

    Incredible price . Cheers OP

  • Amazing price. 28 deg price protection ftw!

Random fact: 28 deg insurance has a lifetime claim limit of $20,000. Can't remember if that's all claims or just price protection

  • meh missed it

4k version back up to $40.99, but 2-disc blu-ray still sitting at $7.

    Maybe credit the whirlpool post

    • +2

      Assuming that was the source.

    • +2

I'm not on whirlpool forums, saw the price this morning when I was browsing through my bookmarks.

    • +2

Is there a Whirlpool bargain thread? Link pls. I need another site to refresh every 2 minutes.

      • +2

        Link

It's alright, goes off topic a lot. Gets moderated pretty heavily. Ozbargain is better for deals tho.

      • There is a thread about Ultra HD Bluray where people share the deals of 4k bluray from many sources.

  • For what it's worth the movie is by the numbers and the themes SO obvious it's actually a little excruciating to watch. Doesn't have the magic of the first movie whatsoever

This is slightly cheaper than its worth.

    • I enjoyed it, but the plot was clearly not Brad Bird's finest.
The smaller moments were great though.

    • There was magic in the first?

      • They magically took my money?

  • Oh shiot missed this
