[eBay Plus] Nintendo Switch Grey Console + 2 Games (New 2019 Model) - $398.65 + $6.95 Delivery @ EB Games eBay

650
PANTHER

Original Coupon Deal

This is the new Switch with the upgraded internals and better battery life, seems like EB Games just listed it today. Scroll down on the listing page and you'll see it shows a picture of the new retail box (more red than the original box) and mentions the longer battery life (5.5 hours in Breath of the Wild).

So far it's only available in a bundle with two games, while their other standalone console listing is for the older Switch model. Snipperclips and Sushi Striker don't seem too bad for pack-ins (Metacritics of 84 and 76 respectively), or if you were so inclined they might net you ~$40 back with a cheeky little eBay flip during your next no-fee weekend promo. $360ish for a new Switch this far out from Black Friday isn't too bad.

Remember that all important 1% cashback on the Shopback app.

This is a good deal but I'll just stick to using my old Switch. Thanks anyway though! :)

    • Unless you make heavy use of the battery its not worth the upgrade from what Ive seen.

Very good price for the new revision model.

  • btw, if anyone prefers the Red/Blue model, it isn't live on their eBay store but it IS up on the EB Games website at $469. Maybe give it a day or two and see if it pops up on eBay?

  • Out of stock now, hoping the neon model shows up

  • So just better battery? What else?

Reports of slightly better screens and maaaaybe better JoyCons, but it's only just come out in the last week or so and I don't think any really rigorous tests have been done. Basically it has more power efficient internals, so the battery lasts significantly longer, but otherwise it's the same old Switch.

Not worth flogging your original model just to upgrade to one of these, but if you happen to be in the market for a new Switch this is the one to get. Or, if you don't care about battery life, might be a chance to get an older model at a good discount as retailers try to get rid of the old stock.

Really wish nintendo release a "pro" edition that features:
    1. OLED display
    2. Loud stereo speakers
    3. Bigger battery

and just watched a video comparing the "old" switch to this updated switch. Apparently the only change is the CPU which has resulted in a better battery life. A link to the video if interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpynBRXLoBY

    • only thing I would want from a pro switch is no frame rate drops in BotW

      • The new switch does preform better if you're willing to void warranty and maybe get banned from online (So no not really) but it can clock higher and gets better FPS with third party tools… So while it doesn't really Nintendo COULD make it better if they wanted to…

      Bluetooth headphone support
Better res when connected to dock

      • Bluetooth headphone support is crucial for me.

    • Just make a Nintendo tegra phone with joycons already!

  • dammit been waiting for this and now missed it! I am sure there will be more coming as the old stock runs out though.

Great deal OP, but boo to EB for listing all of 8 of them - 6 of which had sold before this deal was published.

Biggest boo is on account of implanting the need for me to check online every hour or two for the next week to see if they put up the Neon version on the same deal…

Only 5 left in stock. Sold by Liujunewe

I assume this is in AUD since it's listed on AmazonAU. Only 5 left as I post this, it's the older model. Probably need to buy an Aus AC adapter.

Edit: Not very confident after checking the seller's profile, but I'll keep this post up for the more adventurous types.
