  Just so people are aware, the screen on this is similar in size to a smart-phone at 5.5-inches.
  This device is more ‘smart alarm-clock’ than ‘home-hub’.

    I am looking at it cause apparently you can have your linked security cams come up on screen (Ring) by asking Alexa.

      Yes I’m sure some features are there. But I think the small screen makes it less usable from a distance.
      Looking at it on a bedside table may be fine, but having it further away in a larger room may be an issue.

      I also read other comments on the Google Home Hub deal saying they like using it as a photo-frame. In which case they prefer the large screen.

    What is the screen size of the Google home hub equivalent?

    I tried an Amazon speaker but I hated that it wouldnt play youtube music for free.

      Home Hub / Nest Hub is 7-inch. Nest Hub Max is 10-inch.

  With the Google Home Hub being very similar in deal prices (around $120 Delivered, and the Nest Hub being as low as $99 once off).
  IMO getting this for $109 + Delivery, is only if you need it to be small, like for a bed-side table.

    I have my music subscription with Apple. Google Hub has no cast option it seems for Apple Music, where as this one does. Something that makes me buy this instead of Google Hub.

    Looks like its everywhere now with jb selling at $109

    As for the 20% off with amazon for other security stuff, I think only the swann wifi outdoor camera worth it, everything else at rrp.

    But yeah cash back should be another 8%
