Looks like a decent special from Coles in this weeks catalogue.

You also get a $2 sim for free when purchasing with the recharge.

Similar to this deal, it costs $5 more but you get an additional 30gb of data.

Might be good for those you don't want to use all the data at once as the data allocation is 6gb every 30 days with a bonus 64gb in the first month (i.e. 70gb in the first month and then 6gb every 30 days for the next 5 months)

Lebara use Vodafone so might be worth buying the $30 Vodafone sim (special this week at Coles for $10) to test data speeds.

            @ScoMosas: For someone without Band 28, the network is actually better. I'm looking to move off Optus where I go onto 3G or no reception all the time.

    If the data doesn't bank, then this is misleading as hell. 100gb data with 70gb in the first month?

    If it banks for less than 6 months it's also pretty poor.

    I'd honestly recommend peeps buy a cheap one month sim and see if theVodafone network works in their area, especially inside buildings.

      I've been with lebara for a while.

      Data definitely banks up to 200GB - and will not expire until the number is cancelled. See below link.

      With regards to reception, it does get slow at times (Standard Vodafone network) and agree that the Optus network may be better, but mostly works fine even on trains. I stream Netflix while commuting with no issues and get 4g+ coverage. My speeds are around 45 Mbps.

        That is correct! You can bank upto 200GB data in your data bank and it would not expire till you have an active plan on your mobile service.

          I am an existing Lebara customer, so my options could be this deal or the current $95 recharge.

            @branners: Hi there,

            The $95 SMALL plan recharge promo gives you 70GB total Data( 34GB in your data bank + 6GB/month)
            whereas, the coles exclusive promo gives you 100GB total Data (64GB DATA BANK +6GB/month)
            The other inclusions for the plan remain the same.

    It does say data bank upto 200 GB.
    Also the $95 on Lebara site seem to be for recharge and not new connection (which is still $135)

    basically the max data you can use in a month is
    6GB + what is in the data bank,

    the minimum data you can use in a month is 6GB?

        I am an ex-Lebara user. I used it for 12 months, stacking up 2 vouhers of 180-day Large Plan when it was on offer last year.

        So, for $99, I got 20GB/month, valid 180 days. And stacked another one on top of it. So spent around $198 for a year and got 240GB data.

        Even with the increased data and the DATA BONUS, etc. you still dont seem to beat your own offers. I conveniently ported to Boost this year and took the $135 Coles Special for 80GB, 1 year. Used Gift Card to get 5% less, had 1000 Bonus Points on offer, also got a survey done giving me 50 points, and the transaction of $135 earned 135 points as well.

        All in all, it came down to ~ $120, for 1 year, 80GB and International Calls to 35 countries.
