I wonder if they through in the QANTAS one engine flying or Hudson river landing or 120 sec near miss in Melbourne towers ;)

After 3 sessions in one of these, you can become a tiger airways co-pilot. You need a further 3 to earn your full wings.

I have been here before but paid $79 instead. Its OK - gets boring though and the cockpit does not physically move as you steer so its essentially just a screen. You are not allowed to deliberately crash the plane due to terrorism laws (authorities apparently audit the training logs every few months).

the cockpit does not physically move

What?? That's a dealbreaker right there. I would have been interested otherwise - would be keen to try rainy approach to Hong Kong Kai Tack.

      • Why rainy? Wouldn't the view be better when clear? I'm keen to try this too (and would pay for it if it was in Melbourne), was too young to appreciate it last time I went to Hong Kong.

    • and the cockpit does not physically move as you steer

The 2nd pic seems to give the impression that it does. Deceptive advertising IMO.

        • Sorry I had to post this. There was an old shed in a paddock over Horsham way in Victoria. It was on the biggest lean you could imagine and still managed to stand. Of course it was named 'Eileen' and your post just reminded me! Thanks!

In regards to the deal, would definitely be on this if it was in Melbourne…will have to stick to FSX for now!

  • I'd be all over this if it was in Sydney!

  • I purchased two Jet Flight Simulator coupons (from a different group buy website) that were very difficult to redeem (one was refunded) and would not recommend this business. The comments above accurately describe the quality of the experience itself. Caveat emptor.
