    Was tentative in buying these from a previous sale thinking I didn't need noise cancellation, and was concerned about the bluetooth delay for video.

    But went ahead and bluetooth delay hasn't been an issue, battery life incredible and they were a godsend for a recent plane trip to Lisbon.

    Super happy with them.

    How's the mic for phone calls on this? Is it OK? I've heard negative reports.

      For me its a hit and miss. works great in quieter environments but I now tend to use the phone for calls. That way I don't end up yelling and not realising how loud I am.

      I had to resort to using phone on most occasions, specially in open or noisier surroundings like a public transport, walking on the streets

      These are absolutely amazing for music playback though, I sold these in anticipation of AKG headphones with Note10 and miss every time I listen to my play lists.

      Have never worked for me. Mic is pretty much useless on this thing. Lots of external noise when you're on the call and the person on the other end of the call can't hear you either. But as a headphone for listening to music, it's a class apart

        maybe its faulty,

        I bought mine and they were faulty from day 1, apparenrtly common to certain batches,

        warranty fixed it pronto, now seems to be working well

        but I dont make too many calls

        Don't know why you're being negged… I own the XM3s but it wouldn't surprise me if the 700's mics smash them, as even QC35 has demonstrably better call quality. Too much headphone tribalism around here.

          Hmm, yeah not sure either… I’m certainly not advocating one over the other, just thought sunbro and others may appreciate a direct sound test comparing the mics against each other..

          I’m hanging out to see what the XM4 brings
