  Great watch but crappy charger (the port is underneath the watch where it is touching your skin, a lot of gunk and dead skin builds up on the port and needs to be cleaned out before you can charge it ! if you have problems charging it then most likely there is gunk in there !)

    I had sand in there once, and was wondering for ages why the thing wasn't charging (cable wasn't flush). Definitely a rubbish charger.

    My sub year old device also died on holiday to Greece recently, whilst snorkelling.
    Their support were pretty good to deal with, you send back the watch (no straps) and charger and they send you a new one back… presumably new anyway, it looks like it!

      Fitbit support are actually awesome. had a 'one' years ago and put it through the wash - my fault - emailed and told them exactly this asking if there was any hope to dry it out / reset it and they just sent me a new one. Had the original GPS watch and the band split 18 months later - they exchanged my watch for me… and no I'm not subscribed to any of their services or anything like that… shame the battery died out and the GPS was super wonky on that watch… puts me off getting this watch (plus I think at this stage I'd prefer an Androidware one now). But I can't fault their support.

  Also why does the price vary so wildly for this thing. I've seen the same coloured ionic priced anywhere from $199 to $399 at target
