    Too hard

    • That's what she said?

      • +2

For the first two minutes anyway

  • +7

    Well worth it.

Saw it in Adelaide for $60 per ticket. Well worth it.

    • This is a ‘Preview Performance’? I take it is not the full show!

      • +2

It would be the full show but preview screenings are like warm-ups

Did anyone find that, if you're overly familiar with stone & Parker's projects, this is a bit disappointing?

People said how good it was but I found it pretty crappy.

I enjoyed the songs and choreography though.
My first time seeing a stage production

    • +4

Seen this on the west end and loved it.

      • My friends saw it there and really liked it too.
Maybe the Sydney show was the problem?

        • +2

I saw it in Sydney and loved it.

I'm a big fan of Matt and Trey and have been since the late 90s.

    • +4

Nope. I love their stuff and also loved this

Great show. And at this price it's a no brainer. Wish I lived in WA to get this price.

I've already seen it twice. If I lived in Perth I'd see it a third time, especially for $20!
Absurdly brilliant and I usually hate musicals.

    • Finally, someone else that thought the same as me. (And I love South Park). They do some absolute gold, but sometimes they come up with utter crap, which I thought this was. Hell, even baseketball & orgazmo were more enjoyable than this.

    • I know what your saying, the things meant to shock you were just a chuckle.

    • +1

Yeah, I like South Park 20 years ago ago but some stuff that was funny back then is a bit cringe worthy now and that's how I felt about book or mormon.

If you haven't seen a stage production, start with the classic ones (which tend to be cheaper too).

      • Yeah. I felt a bit that way too.

Though I still love south Park and find it funny :)

    • I was expecting good things, I literally fell asleep during the first half.

I found it boring, unsurprisingly if I fell asleep.

The music, choreography, singing, all top notch. Story and plot? What the actual f#ck. Humor tailored to a 13 year old, definitely not good quality adult satire.

Saw this on the last day in Adelaide. It's good!

If you've never seen this, just get tickets, it's brilliant.

If you've already seen it, you'll know to see it again.

    • +2

Can confirm. saw this in London and it was so good! Will try and get in on this!

  • +1

  • +1

  • i enjoyed the show. Great buy at $20!

  • Surprisingly good, I saw it in Adelaide. It's a steal for $20, I paid $70.
