Call everyone on our biggest big cap offer ever*

*If you can actually get reception and your area isn't heavily congested!

Once you come out of it, I think you can't go back to "Virgin".

I would like to neg based on the 28 day expiry, poor service and poor reception I receive with Virgin. Also I'd rather go Telstra pre-paid with their current offer, $30 gives $250 calls but a generous 1.4GB data for new customers (for three months). If you want unlimited calls, both Boost and Amaysim have their $40 plans with 3GB or 4GB data.

    • 1.4 GB? Thought it's only 1GB and the promo expired already?

      • You get 400MB as standard and a bonus 1GB on top. I got an SMS from Telstra saying it was for the next 3 months.

  • if you live in cbd area, virgin has no issues at all. all depends where your location. + from me, eventho i dont need it.

  • I live in Melbourne cbd. I just purchased one even though I dont need it to give it a try. If this network is successful, I can get rid of my crappy 3 connection.

  • does anyone know if this could be used for roaming? If one was going overseas for a few weeks it seems like a pretty good deal if you could!

  • LoL @

(excluding calls to Virgin Mobile customer service & Pivotel numbers)

  • so you basically have 2 months to use $900 worth of credit before it disappears into thin air???

    what the hell?

  • OMG! Nine hundred dollars worth for just nineteen bucks!

Virgin along with other telcos can take their faux 'cap' plans, highly inflated dollar values, exhorbitant excess usage fees, etc. and shove it all up their you-know-what.

I've been a Virgin customer for several years…and never had any problems with reception, both close to the city and in the outer suburbs (Melbourne), but I guess it would differ for each area.

I'm considering taking this up but I'm not sure if you can use it if you already have an acct with them? I've just switched back to prepaid too!
