    Which camera would you recommend for this?

      What would you recommend?
      Looking to replace some aging Logitech Alert (well the outside one that still works) cameras, so want something for outdoor use - night, which is at least 1080p, POE and can record to SD card/over the network.
      Also 1 or 2 similar units for inside (without needing to be weatherproof).

      Heard mixed things about the Arlo 2 Pro's, are Hikvision in a similar class?

        Hikvision have a few that have SD card or to a NVR. Have a look at the Hikvision DS-2CD2355FWD-I 6MP, POE, SD card and can be had for about $150 on ebay sales. MUCH BETTER quality……

          And also a much BIGGER price. Hikvision are at a different price point, so different market, so no point comparing to super budget cams in this deal. You're also talking about a 6MP cam vs 2.

    Bought this and got it delivered today…
    Set it up easily and it worked perfectly…for about an hour.
    Now all it does is flash the red LED and continue to say setup failed when trying to connect wireless mode. I have never heard the 'ding dong' while configuring device again. I even changed my WiFi password and updated it within the app and it still fails.
