  • Is this a good company it also for a limited time

  • It can't identify your address if you live in a unit. I wonder how you go about that?

It's only for a limited time, they will jack up their prices like they did with their parent company Lycamobile.

  • 6 cents national landline per minute and 12 cents to mobile is very attractive.

However it seems to be a promotional rate. I have no way to find out its normal way after the promotion.

If I know the normal rate I'll sign up!

  • Anyone know how to find the cost of calls after 31/7/2011? All I can find on their website are the promotional rates. For example, on promotion we are offered no flagfall on National calls for one month. But after July what will the flagfall cost be?

  • Not bed, another good one is lycamobile, 19c flag fall for international call.

    • Not bed? More like bait and trap. We all know what happened to the ISPs who tried to do the same.

      • I just try to be kind~ anyway, I think lycamobile is a good choose.

    All Australian numbers 0c/min.

From the HelloMobile T&Cs - Vodafone supplies the Services to Hello Mobile

    • Depends on how you intend to use the calls. Both (Hello and GT) have their own benefits.

Just wanted to clarify that Hello has a 25c flagfall and GT has NO flagfall on Australian numbers. So if you generally make very short calls, then GT is not really that "much more expensive than Hello".

Has anyone used Hello or GT before? whats the quality like. Have been using lebara but always good to try new ones :)

  • no data option?

  • I love all these great deals that are coming out - especially with the international calls.. I also would like to know about what happens after the promotion..

  • GTMobile uses Telstra or vodafone network?

  • Awful web site design, cant find any of their normal rates, or data rates.

  • So if they're on Telstra, is it NextG, or just the old GSM network?

    • OLD gsm, trust me I bought one of these and used it. The reception quality was very poor. i.e. kept dropping out, voice muffling.

      • I never had any problem with Telstra GSM network. it may be once off.

        • I use ACTUAL Telstra GSM everyday, and that stayed fine with reception, but that GT mobile sim using telstra gsm, did not.

        • So there is a difference between Telstra Telstra, and Telstra GTMobile? Interesting, considering they both should be using the same network.

  • i wonder what happens after promotion is finished RE: international call rates.

    • I think it will last same as other competitors lycamobile + lebaramobile etc.
they have started promotional rates, and they are still running that.
I think they are sourcing network but using VOIP service provided by third party like mynetfone.
Normally Mynetfone voip provider, give 100 untimed call by paying $25 per month. which comes to 0c per min(becoz its untimed) + 25c flagfall.
