According to the Google Cache of the product page from the 29th June, this was previously $80 delivered, making this a very decent price drop.

This is especially the case when most places on StaticIce list prices of $125+, not yet factoring in delivery.

Edit: Just noticed that this is a 48hr promotion. Not too sure when it actually started though.

Still $80 on their ebay shop. Good deal I reckon.

  • I wish I could combine the PS3 adapter with this and get a combo deal at a good price. I am sure you they can do something. come on LGS….Please ADD PS3 adapter…and make a deal for us.

if you don't mind second hand, i'll sell you mine for $25 delivered

  • The 650 was $39 for ages but they've bumped that up to $55 now to make this look more attractive. Probably to clear it out. Nevertheless this is better as it's rechargeable. Also the website says it replaces 5 remotes but on the main logitech website it says 6 remotes. Which one is it?

  • Great price! Great remote! I currently have the 300 and 650 so can't see the point in spending another $50 but it certainly is tempting!

  • I dont really understand the difference btwn this harmony 700, and harmony 650 &600.. anyone care to explain?

    • The 600 & 650 are identical except for a colour screen on the latter, both control up to 5 devices.

The 700 is essentially a 650 that can control up to 6 devices, with rechargable batteries.

IMHO (being a 650 owner), the pick of the bunch ATM is the 600 from the LTS ebay shop for $25 delivered! :)

      • You sure? I can only see the 300 from the LTS ebay shop for $25 delivered?

It was there 38mins ago when I posted that, but not now…clearly some smart cookies have taken advantage of the bargain…good for them! Oh well, you snooze you lose! ;)

Personally I'd rather get the Harmony 525.

It's annoying they put these arbitrary limits of 5-6 devices and make you fork out for the Harmony One (RRP$299) if you need more. The old Harmony 525 supports 15 devices.

  • Thanks to the OP as I've been wanting a new remote to replace my old Harmony 525. I'd prefer a Harmony One but at a third of the price the 700 looks like the go. I've bought from the Logitech site before and their delivery time was really quick btw.

Just bought one before I have got out of bed :(

  • OzBargained. Thanks. Was looking to purchase a remote, then I see this. Couldn't come at a more perfect time!

I'm not sure that is the correct definition of OzBargained.

  • Thanks, just picked up two for xmas prezzies!

  • Got my notification this afternoon that my Harmony 700 has been shipped to me via Australian Air Express - so it should arrive tomorrow. Very impressive so far in terms of communications and shipping.

  • Yeah the whole process seems very professional. Unfortunately my experience with AAE has been crap on 3 occasions so that's the only downside (not logitech's fault AAE can be useless in Perth)

  • LOL I take it all back. I received it today without any issues whatsoever.

  • Received it today with AAE :-)

  • BE CAREFUL though. If you are upgrading from another harmony remote, the settings xfer function on the logitech software does not work properly. it will xfer some settings but you will also lose a lot.
I went from 520 to this one and ended up spending another hour fiddling with settings again.
    It's a good remote though.

  • Got my today at about 9:30, going to play with it tonight.

Good work LogitechShop and AAE. Will be looking for more deals from there.
