    • based on the manufacturer website, yes, it have

  • Good find! Nice microwave.

  • warning ~ this is not kid height friendly.

unless you wanna have to use the "Lock" feature before and after every use.

  • How quiet is this unit? Looking to replace an old Samsung microwave which drowns out the TV when its running.

    • +1

Pretty quiet. I can barely tell it's on when it's heating things up. To the point where sometimes I've forgotten I was heating something until the song plays.

  • Bugger just had to pay $280 earlier in the week for this from Harvey Norman after ours blew up and we needed one straight away (baby food). I will say for the same wattage (1200) our previous Sharp SS 1200 watt heated food quicker than this LG. This LG is quieter, the tunes are annoying and the black SS looks awesome.

  • Thanks for this, OP - it was just what I was looking for after living with a very unsatisfactory Sharp for six years.

Went into my local GG to pick one up, and found one remaining display stock model of the MS4266OSS - all the goodies, and in silver, which I much prefer.

Managed to get it for $249 (RRP $399, normal discount price $318), which makes it a good OZB bargain, I think!

Bought it. Mrs Ackbar won't be happy she was not consulted.

    Oh well, such is wife.

This might be a really dumb question but how do you set the timer without number buttons? I'm not sure if I should return my aldi microwave and get this… The Aldi one is very loud.

    • Yeah, looks like you either use the reheat or cook modes, and enter the type of food and weight, or incrementally add time to end up with the time you want it to run. Looks more fiddly than our Sharp, which had number pass plus one touch 1 minute button.

Can people with this model comment on setting the cook time?

  • Don't need one, but bought one anyway, cuz my shitty Panasonic flat bed really pissed me off at times.

  • +1

Not available at local store, might get price matched at HN or JBhifi

    • HN does not have this model.

    • edit nvm

  • Is there a timer? i.e, a timer that is seperate from any cooking. I haven't come across it. From what I've read there isn't one. You can easily modify cooking times up or down, or use the instant start, but no timer for timing something separate to cooking

  • I have this one but because it sits in an enclosed shelf area, after using it for over 2 minutes or so it says "COOL" on the display & I have to wait for it to cool down. Anyone else had this issue? Is this because it is in an enclosed area?? It is actually quite annoying as I do not have any other place for it.

As of 5pm 6/9/19, all Victorian stores are out of stock except Warrnambool and Traralgon. Phoned a store and was told no stores will be getting in any more stock, despite what the Good Guys website says. Move on Victorians unless you want to pay for postage (in which case it would be cheaper to pick one up from JB) or you live out in the sticks.

      • Yep, I concur.

      • My order got cancelled and refund is on the way. So sad

    • Regardless of where you place it, cooling is normal to protect the electronics/magnetron. You don't need to wait for anything, if you have more food to cook, cook it straight away.

  • What microwaves are the ones with no spinning plate - they're the goods.

  • I received the email notification to collect from store yesterday l, but I just get a call from store saying no stock available, their head office told them LG can not supply the goods, they over sold the products. No product available in Victoria. My order got canceled.
What a joke the good guys is? This happed to many times.

  • Picked one of these up from GG Helensvale yesterday. Much, much better than the POS Panasonic it replaces. Cooks better/faster/quieter, simple control panel, LED lighting, more stable turntable, option to not have clock which goes to power save mode after a few minutes. Looks beautiful in black.

  • No longer available on eBay; Page not found on TGG site. Boooo

Got price matched at JB and paid with ulti kids/teens cards yesterday. If you grab a TGG catalogue to JB, you might still be able to match the price.

    • hmm which TGG catalogue did u use?
just looking at the catalogues on their website, there is nothing about this microwave?

      • If not online, find a printed one.

      • It's on their current technology catalogue. The below Lin ktakes you straight to the page with this microwave listed. I just price matched at jbhifi. Good timing as our old one just died. It's a pretty sweet microwave!

        • Would they check the availability or just the catalogue and price match it ? Just checked my local JB hi-fi showing no stock .

          • @koolchamp81: Mine was just happy with the catalogue online. They showed no stock online. So ended up buying the floor model. They told me it was only unboxed last week.

            • @step_hen: confirming i picked one up today, price matched at JB. they were happy with the catalogue
