Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earphones $299 (Free C&C) @ The Good Guys Commercial (Membership Required)

80

Looks to be a pretty good deal if you're currently in the market for a high-end set of true wireless ear buds.

RRP $499. Current cheapest I could find was ~$399 @ other online stores

I used to own them until I gave away to my family member. The sound is great (much clearer than Sony 1000mx3) but the the earbuds don't have an auto turn-off mode so if the case runs out of battery (which happens a lot since the case doesn't have an option to manually turn on or turn off charging. It just automatically starts charging when you put them back into the case), the earbuds get turned on while still in the case and they go out of battery too. It's really annoying

The update in July allows you to power down the buds through the app in that scenario.

    • Wow, even the $30 ones will power off & charge once inside the case and back on again when taking out.
Why is it even on in charger in the first place?

      • The MTWs do turn off and begin charging when placed back into a charged case however, it was an issue when the case ran out of battery. Now, in that situation, the buds can be turned off remotely using the app.

    • Oh wow thanks so much for this review. That's an extremely annoying lack of feature for me. Even with the update, the fact it needs that extra action to power down 'through' an app is unacceptable especially for the price. Cheers mate.

  • Too limited… none of the organisations from the onhunt post can give me access to GG Commercial.

    • You must be one of only a handful ozbargainers who didn’t get their free g’day rewards account.

      • yup… I missed that

  • You can get access through sunsuper if you use them for super.

    • no sunsuper unfortunately

      • well sign up - it isn't hard!

        • I can't mate, my super is not with them.

@tjioer: It doesn't matter who your super is with, just create the account for the purpose of creating a Good Guys Commercial account. You don't have to transfer of deposit any funds to create an account.

  • I was thinking this deal was for headphones, not earphones.
