A couragous company explaining how are light-switches are giving our children leukemia. I'm more worried about hydroxyl acid myself.

    • You mean high voltage transmission lines?

  • While there are some people with a physiological sensitivity to EMR, they are a miniscule minority. Cell towers and radio waves have been a reality of western civilization for decades. Businesses like this are simply trying to make money off the back of the fear mongering that mobile phones and WiFi are dangerous to humans. Their dishonest agenda drives the sale of expensive crap like this - https://www.radmeters.com/Emf-protection.html

I prefer to listen to scientific authorities on the matter. https://www.arpansa.gov.au/understanding-radiation/radiation…

Yep you believe that, because governments have never misled the public, right?

It’s EMF radiating devices and the proximity to human tissue that is the current concern not so much the cell towers

And if you don’t think there has been an increase in radiating cell towers and power output from devices in the last few decades there is no helping you

The ARPANSA safety standard is only based on thermal biological effects. It doesn’t cover non thermal biological effects, such as oxidative stress, DNA damage or negative impacts on the reproductive system which there a plenty of studies that show negative outcomes at levels much lower than the ARPANSA safety standards because they are based on the ICNIRP 1998 guidelines. For example the ARPANSA standard is set to 10000 to 4000 mW/m^2 depending on frequency compared the independent updated guidelines for school children wifi exposure in classroom is recommended at a maximum of 0.1mW//m^2.

Also when they test mobile devices, the SAR tests are modeled on a 200 pound male from experiments in the 1980s and not updated since the 90s. It also only looks at thermal effects. Children or smaller adults with smaller skull and body will absorb a lot more EM radiation.

Buying a meter is about getting actual energy density readings in the environment that you are always in. Then make considerations and take action to configure devices to reduce EMF pollution and modify behaviour for less exposure.

    • Maybe. I'd say the evidence is clear enough that you could follow those government guidelines with 99.9% confidence. But that 0.1% chance could still end up being something catastrophic for the human race, so I'm glad there are people who take it seriously.

What I find annoying personally is when people claim its a problem, but approach it in a seemingly hypocritical way. Like saying EMF waves are a problem, but instead of wearing lead lined clothes or installing metal shielding in the walls or cutting off power to their house, you know, things that cost money and might actually work, they buy a magic 'RF absorbing sticker' and call it a day.

    • A couple of good resources. Food for thought for anyone interested in the studies/effects of EMF/EMR

ARPANSA are a joke. Just do some research on them.

If you like to listen to authorities on the subject invest 30 minutes watching this ABC TV documentary on the subject that has bona fide authorities as sources (their qualifications are cited).

The dangers of EMR are real and there are THOUSANDS of peer reviewed studies on it.

Are these any good for detecting Ghosts ?

    • No but these are particularly good if you have children and you want to minimise their exposure. They are also good if you live in line of sight from a cell tower or close to one.
