  • Thanks for that scotty (I suppose you updated the title and image).

I could not figure out how to post the image and deal url together even though I uploaded the screen shot twice.

My first deal, hopefully I will get it right next time.

    • @search — yes I updated the title.

As for the image, OzBargain can automatically extract out the product image for some of the merchant sites so just post the link to Catch of the Day and our spider will grab the current product image (within 5 minutes of posting).

  • thanks for that friend.. your gravatar looks scary :)

  • This is even cheaper than MSY.com.au's price.. not bad at all! I'm seriously thinking of getting one..

  • how good is Linux OS? never used it … so I am not that familiar …

  • Check around the web for prices - http://www.shopbot.com.au/p-80766.html for example and take a look at http://www.zdnet.com.au/reviews/hardware/laptops/soa/ASUS-Ee… which points out that the new model due for release now is 20G memory for the Linux version compared to 4G for the model on sale here.

It is a runout sale and others will follow as the 900 model becomes available.

I was also tempted till I hit Google :))

    Ozzie - negative vote +1

  • however you may be able to grab these for slightly cheaper using ebay.. at around $300 including delivery.

  • Good deal - but from past experience I am staying well away from Catch of The Day.

  • does it have 1GB ram? or is it the 512mb one? cant see it anywhere…

  • Good deal on the price.

    COTD is the problem.
I would not trust them in buying an eeePC.

  • fair price, but will not buy from COTD, too many death on arrive products, they always post 2 weeks after purchase. Their return process is slow and can expect bad customer service. I will pay a few bucks more in officeworks with good return policy. Moreover, ASUS has released their new version of EEE PC (model number 900 & 901), with 12GB or 20GB harddisk with WinXP, the old version will be out of date very soon.

  • $327 Eee PC is BACK — THE ELECTROVAGANZA at CotD today and Eee PC is one of the item…
