Found this while browsing over the clearance items SCA web site after getting my Bowdens fix. Not the greatest but cheap drill for handyman tasks.
Stock appears to be available at most stores.

The Direct Power Impact Drill is perfect for any DIY handyman who is regularly drilling tough materials. This 500 Watts corded drill has a variable speed switch and can function in forward and reverse. Perfect for metals, wood or even masonry, this drill used a keyed chuck to install the appropriate drill bits. When drilling the added side handle allows easier control and positioning of the drill and additionally a depth gauge can be adjusted to provide an indication when to stop drilling.

  I have had one for about 4 years … use it 3-5 times a year and it’s been good for what it is … the hammer drill setting is fine for drilling bricks.

  if I recall correctly I paid about $80, so this is a true bargain.

    Hey Chops, just wandering how did it work in Masonry? I’ve tried drilling through masonry with my workzone impact cordless drill and it’d not work. I rarely do masonry related drilling but for $15 I’m thinking why not.

      For $15 you can't go wrong. I have been using something similar and just as cheap for years.

      I have used mine 6 times to drill though bricks (on hammer setting) without any problem … I think the masonry bit is stuffed, but that is to be expected. I wouldn’t count on it to do it all day long but for the few occasions I have needed it, it did a good job.

  "Dangerously" cheap drill!!
  though the money you save buying this drill over buying a quality drill
  can be used to pay for the eye operation when bits of metal come flying off at 3,000RPM!!
