  FYI these acoustic type foam pieces do absolutely nothing. Zero. They definitely CANNOT absorb lower hz frequencies that your subwoofer produces. All they do is "look cool".

  Highly recommend buying some Polymax Acoustic XHD (recently renamed) 100mm panels from a dealer, cutting them to suit, double layering and straddling at an angle in your room corners. Much more effective. See here: https://www.stereo.net.au/forums/topic/260153-room-set-up-ad…. These are polyester fibre insulation panels, super dense, will absorb and help deaden a bright or boomy room effectively. They are also NOT fibreglass insulation based so they are not itchy nor leave fibres all over your room.

  When I did my theatre room 600x1200 100mm panels cost about $35. Highly recommend these guys (no affiliation) as they order in bulk and happy to sell individual panels to the public. Will even cut to size if you ask. Other dealers mentioned here: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2554119
