Lol people go crazy over this? Then you’re stuck with a gift card. With an odd balance eventually that you’ll struggle to spend and only get stuff to waste the remaining amount.

It's eftpos = cash
It's not that difficult to realise how you'd use it to buy stuff, in a store, like you would with real money, on a card, very similar to this one

Exactly. I use these at ALDI where EFTPOS doesn't attract a fee. Also pay off council rates and the tiny amounts I have left I use them at self-checkout at Woolies and Coles.
Also for laundering money.

Even though an EFTPOS card is basically cash, I have to agree that this saving isn't worth my time when you factor in the risks involved in the transaction.
What happens if the gift card is lost in the mail? I've had numerous PayPal disputes over the years resolved in the seller's favour when all they did was demonstrate the item was sent (with the tracking number not showing as delivered). What happens if the postie delivers it to the wrong address and the tracking number shows as 'delivered'? Again, PayPal will side with the seller in my experience. I've been burnt too many times by PayPal over the years to think the risk is worth a 7% discount.

if you use to pay council fee , water rate that is 6% saving. Don't think you can get any discount for paying this fee apart from your credit card points.
