Shops are going to make crap coffee. They will say the taste has to be horrible to match the promotion.
I spoke to the shop that I used Hey You for and asked what commission they pay. They say they 10% commission. Considering they pay 2-3% for credit card fees, the remaining 7% they pay isnt a bad deal.
I dont use the app much except for promotions because I like to wait at my coffee shop and chat.
They (the coffee shops) are unlikely to know about the promotion — only they'll notice a possible influx of orders from Hey You customers.

I also got a $10 voucher for spending $10x twice during a promo period (spend $10 get $5), is this the one you're referring to? :-)
I used 3x AmEx cards to load up $90 balance and get $30 back, plus stacking with promos like spend $x get $y and Shopback has been pretty decent!
Why they make it min $5 spend…. Even large coffee is like $4.50 or so

Because that's a voucher, those T's and C's suggest "no".
That t&c is about the spending that is required to get the vouchers

I entered the Choice promo, and then got a unique code from Hey You. That's the terms and conditions linked on the bottom of the email from Hey You on September 2 (the 'free' money back from the Choice promo, in other words).
I'm going to give the FRIDAY code a try tomorrow, along with my unique voucher code from Sept 2… When I've downed my coffee, I'll send an update here.

Yep, good point. Should be $0.50 for existing customers, plus $2 bonus ($5 minimum spend), if you use the Shopback extension on a desktop browser (e.g. Chrome / Firefox). So there's $2.50 bonus to be had there… Thanks!
Anyone manage to get Hey You to activate for the Shopback extension? It's not working for me. Looks like $0.50 cashback + the 13% discount from Hey You + any other offers you already have waiting to stack with. Bugger, I wanted that extra $2 too :-(
On shopback website for Hey you, it says cashback only available on shopback app for hey you. so i guess it wont get tracked for $0.50 + $2..
It'll only work for applicable codes - if this code isn't listed on shopback, it'll ineligible.
Code not working - the heyyou support is terrible. I suggest you email the CEO as i did he will actually sort your issue.

No it worked for me at $5 and over. Itll have the promo discount description in blue on the final page like all their promos
Found the problem! Automatic $1 discount toast combo didnt stack with the 13% discount, had to get something else other than toast
