Overall, most expensive garage sale I have ever seen.

    • The other one doesn't mention computers. 30% off is quite decent.

      • Where's 30% off computers???
When I look at the computers, it comes up with 20% off…
        Nevermind-I just saw that it's 'up to 30% off'…

  • Garage sale ends 18/07/2011 rather then in "3 days".

Best bargain is the $25 DVD box sets.

With the James Bond Ultimate Collector's Set: Limited Edition Box set(~$300) and WWE Summerslam Anthology Box Set DVD 20 Disc box (~$250) set being at the top of the list for savings.

Both are available in various stores for $25, stock is very limited.

And yeah. this is a dupe: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/48256

There was one copy at North Parramatta DSE yesterday when I was there.

        • -1

          wheres that located

        • No James Bond box sets in NSW or ACT apparently.. and i think there are a few WWE box sets left around a few places

OMFG is it that hard to look up online?

          North Parramatta DSE
          2 Windsor Road
          Northmead
          NSW 2152
          Phone: 02 98905548

And yes they have a copy there!

slaps himself for being an enabler

None of the DVD or Music CD's are listed on the DSE web site. DVD and Music CD's stock is only available in store and not available online.

Blu Rays are listed, however, the 3 for $50 sale that is also currently going on isn't very good in comparison to JB HiFi's 2 for 20 (or the 2 for $30 which is also still ongoing).

List of Blu Rays are here: http://dicksmith.com.au/garage-sale/blu-ray-deals/t/

Worth a look if your trying to find LoTR or Matrix trilogies on Blu Ray.

  • hmmm, wonder if JB will price match? :)

Ha - also noticed a Serial ATA power adaptor for $24 - wow - better snap these up before they all go LOL…

I think I got one from my local computer store about three months ago for $1.50.

  • Dick Smith in Chatswood Chase is all out of box sets in case anyone is wondering…

    • And Dick Smith St Ives doesn't sell DVD box sets (even when there isn't a sale).

But did manage to get (for a friend) Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) for $20 @ St Ives (Chatswood Chase was out of stock) and Cursed Mountain (Wii) for $10 @ Chatswood Chase.

      • Apparently only 'large' store sell box sets. When you use the store finder on the DSE website. it'll tell you which ones are 'large stores.

  • I think the staff picked up all of the box sets at my local dick smith. I went there yesterday, there were heaps. This morning, 9am, I am the first one in the door as it opens and all of the $100+ box sets were mysteriously gone. :-(

I should have bought yesterday, then done the 7 day change of mind to buy again at $25.

  • DSE Fremantle has no box sets at all.

    • Same with both Dick Smith Armadale stores. The only DVD's I've ever seen them sell are really, really bad F-grade films.

BTW if anyone does get the Bond set for $25, please post a receipt, then we can hopefully price-match at Kmart, Big W etc!

Knox City and Chadstone had few boxsets left, not a big selection. However, some of their blu ray boxsets were coming up under 3 for $50, i picked up 2 copies of bourne trilogy, matrix boxset 7 discs, band of brothers, ice age trilogy and night at the museum 1 and 2 for $100. Broadmeadows might have few left but I'm not sure what. their glass cabinet was almost empty

    • ….their glass cabinet was almost empty…

I prefer to say it was half full

  • No box sets in North Sydney - I was told 'only the larger format stores have box sets'.

  • The Northmead store dosent have the WWE Summerslam Anthology so does anyone know of any where else
