Wide Array of Compatibilities: Works with any device that has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, such as PCs/laptops/smartphones/tablets/projectors
Powerful Audio: Produces an impressive soundstage and great sound quality with LED Accents to set up the ambience
Simple Operation: Plug in the USB port for power and plug the pink cable for mic and the blue cable for headphone. Dial the knob for volume to start the oomph
Microphone & Headphone Enabled: 3.5mm microphone input and headphone output make it handy for late-night movies or gaming sessions
Space-Saving Design: Works well with your computer or TV while letting users play what they want without sacrificing valuable desk space.

I own one myself and find the sound quality completely fine. Only gripe I have with it is that I have to unplug it every night otherwise the blue light is too bright.

Thanks OP. Hope it's in stock in the afternoon so I can set up an Amazon prime trial and get one.

  • Would it sound better than TV's audio?

    • +2

      Hard to be worse.

    Is this worth it?

@OP put some black tape on the led light, you'll still see the light but just allot dimmer, save yourself getting up

    • +1

From the picture, it appears that the blue light is around the volume control, so it may not be practical to put tape over it.

        That's a shame oh well

        • +1

A black board marker may work to mitigate its bright

          • @trienchieu12: Thanks for the ideas. I have considered putting tape on the inside after taking it apart so it'll be dimmer, but I didn't want to risk it getting broken quite yet

    “Wide array of compatibilities”

    Like, it produces sound.

    • Compatibilities.

Like you can plug it to many different type of devices.

      • In one way only though

  • In the market for a new speaker but I’m quite clueless about audio stuffs. Can someone give me a suggestion on whether I should get this or the Creative Pebble instead?

    • I can't say for the creative pebble, but I'm very happy with the sound from the taotronics. Then again, I came from a cheap bluetooth speaker that I just used plugged into my computer

Thx OP. I may/not needed, but ordered. :D

    • i was on the same line of thought, was thinking do i need it or not but didn't want the deal to sell out or expire, so pulled the trigger and purchased. Worse case it will sit under the I-mac :)

      • +1

Same here! Def should be an upgrade from the laptop audio.

I'm happy with my TaoTronics NC headphones, but for a computer you're possibly better off just getting something from Logitech.

Usb powered isn't going to be great.

    • Yeah you can only do so much with 5W input.
