Wow a great price on 9500g 75". Best ever probably.

  • wow, cheaper than the x9300g deal i had my eyes on years ago. thx.

      You meant x9300e I guess

      • i suppose you are right. man, that was years ago

    • X9300E was only 55 & 65 inch. Maybe X9400E? Haha

      • back then x9300 55inch had a special for bit over $1700

        • Yeah only from the Sony kiosk for like $1750. No store had them under $2000. I ended up getting the second last one in the country from Costco haha. I rang up everywhere around Australia for that TV :) Definitely worth it though!

  • In all seriousness why is the 75" almost double the price compared to the 65"? It's only a 10" difference (…and queue the manhood jokes in 3…2…1…)?

    • Many differences besides the screen size which are actually worth the price difference

      • I was hoping someone could be specific about the differences.

        • Think 65" is in a sweet spot at the moment. Supply and demand my friend. I would be happy with 65" anywhere, but my wall in newly renovated living room is 7m across and 7m long. 75" is a minimum to fit in. Otherwise for upstairs I am happy with a 65".

    • The Sony X95g 75" and 85" TV's have Sony's x-wide angle panel technology that improves the visuals at wide viewing angles.

It improves the viewing angle but does sacrifice on contrasts a bit. So there is a bit of a trade off.

The 55" and 65" don't have x-wide angle which is why there is a big price jump in between 65 and 75.

      • They're about 25-30% lower in contrast for the wider angle models. Way too much drop down in quality. Unless you're watching at extreme angles there isn't that much difference anyway. I enjoyed your new show by the way… :)

  • Went to pull the trigger on the 65” x95 but neither BL or Myer will deliver to my address…

    • Email them vis Ebay messages. There is a work around which they will accommodate and give instructions on how to order. I’m regional NSW and had it delivered. Good luck.. I love my 75 x95.

I want to say thanks to the OP for this.

I snared the Sony 65" X9500G for $1,996 ($2,071 Delivered) from Myer eBay.

They advised delivery would be 10 October. Which I thought… "OK, fair enough, must be a lot of demand. Maybe they need to source back to supplier." But then I receive an SMS that it is coming today (26 Sep) - one day after ordering!

Definitely my biggest 'saving' through OzBargain. Again, thanks.

    • Yep, I got this exact tv and deal and couldn't be happier, got it delivered after 2 days
