Are the red ones faster ? 🏎️

  • +5

I doubt anyone else gets this

    • Why?

      • Because the website price is double? Because maybe the buyer bought a returned item that has a special discount…

Price of a cheap hard drive?
    You wallet, phone and keys.

That's right, Fountain Gate is a festering sh!thole.
The truth is the truth. Neg away!

      • the Herald Sun is a festering sh!thole always trying to scaremonger and rally racists

@King Tightarse: thank you for posting links all about the same incident from tabloids (not credible news sources at all) which incidentally most are owned by News Corp and our good old mate - Rupert Murdoch.

The Herald Sun, The Age, News.com.au and Gold 104.3 are all in Rupert's back pocket.

The msn article was a copy of any article from the Daily Mail and the other Daily Mail article are both part of DMG group. And if you'd read it most of the photos and videos from the A Current Affair article were actually from Newport, Sydney where 200 kids rampaged after a mass fight)

If you'd read the reddit article over half the posts are 'what? really? never seen/experienced anything myself'.

Yes, it is in media's best interest to keep people scared and complacent, as well as distract them from real world items. 'They' are taking our jobs. 'They' are attacking 'our' women. 'They' are changing your suburbs and making them unsafe.

Thank you so much for your posting articles and doing your thorough due diligence in reading and sourcing them.

              @gizmomelb: That's my pleasure.
Just quick smattering from Google as I am sure you appreciate but quite representative of the general reporting of the gang crime at Fountain gate.
You may wish otherwise, but those of us who are NOT living in an alternate reality understand that no, there is not a cabal of 'racists' and biased media conspiring to distort the general public's opinion of Fountain Gate, but it is in reality a truly horrible cess-pit of a shopping centre, and is fairly named "Australia's worst mall". A reputation fairly earned.
This the the comments section of a bargain forum, there is no due diligence required, but you are quite wrong stating that they are "all the same incident". Read the links again and you will see them describe many incidents over time at "Australia's worst mall".
If you have to shop there, my sincere condolences.

@King Tightarse: As I said.. all links relate the the incident in May 2019 with a group of african teenage girls, except for the content of the videos and photos used throughout the media stories (to scare the oldies and fire up the racists, presumably.. but which show caucasian kids mostly fighting and vandalising property) - which relate to the teenage brawl in Newport, Sydney in April 2019. A whole different State - or maybe that should be altered reality?

It's obvious you did not read / research the links you provided as even the reddit discussion page has the majority of posters saying they have never experienced anything untoward at the shopping centre.

Even if this is a bargain discussion area, due diligence is ALWAYS needed (especially for the bargain posts) other it is a spout bullshit opinion area, isn't it? You want Australianism? Well I aim to keep the bastards honest, there more than enough dishonest bastards around already.

Let's all cry in a circle for poor poor WD. I hope they'll make it

      • +1

Actually they are not going to make it, they already have announced they are going to stop mechanical disk manufacture in the not too distant future.

        • is that for real? then how would we get cheap storage anymore, the only major company left would be Seagate wouldnt it

Unobtainable. Called the store to ask if any were in stock (need one) and he asked if I was calling about the OzB deal lol. He told me it's an error and that one person was lucky enough to get it at this price. Now definitely $194.

      • You've up voted too lol

  • Seagate deal was better

    • +1

Seagate is never a better deal.. faulty bad sector magnets.. I've turned down the offer of free seagate drives because I've had such bad experiences with them both personally and via work (I work in CCTV / DVR and we swap out the default Seagates due to having so many fail in short spaces of usage).

    Thanks OP. Got one.
