The ALF50 code is not working for some but the advertised ALF40 code is and it is giving 50% off, not the advertised 40%.

  Looks like the code changed to AFL40 now. The site says it's a 40% off code, but I checked out just now and it's still 50% off the final figure.

    As stated:

    To celebrate the end of the AFL season we have updated our deal for the next 24 hours.

    The original sale is for 40% off hence the AFL40 code is mentioned on the SiS web site.

    Even though SiS state that this updated 50% off sale is for 24hrs, usually the codes work for a few days. I'll be keeping an eye on the code and checking when it actually expires.

    Didn't know the back story, my bad. All good though, I tried using AFL50 at the time, and it wasn't coming up as a valid code but the AFL40 was.

      Hmmm, the ALF50 code worked for me. Interesting that it didn't work for you though. I received the email at 8pm yesterday (Sunday) so it should work today unless the sale was only supposed to be for Sunday although the only time frame mentioned in the email was the 24hrs.

      So when you used the AFL40 code can you confirm that you did get 50% off and not the advertised 40%. If not make sure you let SiS know quoting your order number. I've had problems with codes in the past and SiS have always refunded the discounted amount when I enquired about it. I'll update the post if the AFL40 code is now giving the 50% discount and the AFL50 code is not working. Thanks.

      Yeah it gave 50% despite being the original AFL40 code. I just did a mock purchase and the AFL50 code is still "not recognised" by the site, AFL40 is giving a 50% though. I'd suggest to try on your end too to make sure I'm not a special case hahaha.
