Note, sometimes you might think you can connect 2 devices because the plugs on the cable are correct, but important to note the 'signal type' (Mic, Guitar, Line, Speaker level) and ensure you are connecting the same type of signal type. Otherwise, you may need a converter unit like a DI Box (Guitar to Mic) to get the correct signal type for your input. Reach out if you need any help, we are more than happy to assist.

Does anyone know if theres a connector cable I can buy to connect the speakers directly to the tv?

    Thanks

You haven't described the tv connections so it's impossible to answer.

Most likely no, the speakers require amplification.

      • Yes - they would be 'passive speakers' so you need an amplifier to drive them, and that would usually come from the 5.1 base unit.

  • I like juno.co.uk for cables.

I'd love to buy local, but I can get a 3m TRS cable from Juno for under $10 AUD delivered, less for multiple.

Quality is more than acceptable, I've had some of these for about 10 years.

    • thanks for pointing out this overseas competitor - they appear to charge $8.19 for shipping 1x cable. So cheapest option for 1x cable is ~$14. We have a 2m length delivered free for $11. We do consider discounts for bulk QTY orders, reach out if you want a quote.
