If you haven't played this yet, buy it now, play it and sell it for $45-$50 once your finished.

    • Am planning on doing this as I recently bought a switch lite. My question is will there be no expansion packs (if that's even a thing) or further dlc (maps etc) that mario odyssey will receive?

My question is will there be no expansion packs

        Your question is bad grammar.

        • It's a good question, because I can just so no and not be wrong.

            @bxpressiv:

because I can just so no and not be wrong.

            I rest my case…

      • They are more likely to make an Odyssey 2 if you use Galaxy as the standard.

Also unfortunately Odyssey is a much better game in docked mode, due to the outstanding use of the controls, be prepared to shake your switch violently to make mario roll.

        • Wow, lol. Will it be a regular occurrence that I have to violently shake my switch lite ?

          • @eltito: No. There were one or two spots where you had to IIRC. I HATE anything gyro etc related and refuse to use it.

      • No. They have junk content updates. I sold mine like a year ago, imho I've missed nothing. Certainly no single player levels.

      • It's possible. But thing is Mario games such as this never really go on discount anyway, so you can hold onto it for a long time and the resell value will still be very high.

and sell it for $45-$50 once your finished.

Then buy another new one for $52.99?

      I don't get it???

      • +2

high 2nd hand value and once finished you won't want to play it anymore.. so just sell it

    • Great idea. For some reason I never thought about this. Nintendo games, especially the first party ones rarely go on discounts, hence the resell value is extremely high. I'll have to keep a look out from now on. Thanks for this.

      • Where are people reselling their games?
Just to EB / JB or are there other good sites?

        • I would like to know this too…

    Amazing game

  • It really shits me how Nintendo hold their prices high on first party titles for so long. The only things worse are TI-83 graphics calculators and Daytona arcade (26 years old and still charge $2/game, and I've even seen some setup for $4/game!)

    • +1

I don't recall paying for games on my graphics calculator :p

    • I feel like it's worse for the industry as a whole when games drop so rapidly. As a stingey consumer, I find it amazing that I can get the 2018 GOTY for $12.50 before the end of 2019, but to a lot of people that means "if I can buy this AAA title with great graphics and story for under $15, why should I buy any indie game for $30 or less ever?"

  • I have it, don't need it, but this is a good buy.

  • If this attracts the full 12% Amazon cashback on Shopback, then it's cheaper than the lowest historical Amazon price as per CamelCamelCamel, right?

  • Price is back to $64 :|
