    There is no wonder Australian household debt is the highest it's ever been when people are in the mindset of paying $259 for airpods.

    But hey, it's all good as long as people have their over priced goods with 500% markups.

      Yeah let's blame it on buying tech and not gambling, drugs or the fact we don't teach basic money management in school.

        Gambling and drugs is not the cause of the national household debt. Not sure where you're getting that information from.

        I don't blame tech, I blame people living outside their means and that includes paying exorbitant amounts for things which includes these airpods, $15 smashed avocado and toast breakfast etc and then people whinge about not having money.

    Can anyone tell me why I shouldn't get the V40 or if there is a better deal currently/reoccurring? My Nokia 8 died recently and I'm using a beater old Huawei that is super frustrating but I'm worried I'm about to impulse buy this and regret it. $600 would be the most I have ever spent on a phone and I'm just wondering if this is worth it. Lot's of upvotes but few comments have me worried.

      For one thing if you want a decent mid range phone, then $600 is a good price. This is a flagship from last year so better than a mid ranger. Besides that the only issue with LG is updates. I think they make great phones but their software updates are a bit slow - if that doesn't bother you then go for it! Alternatively, check out the Samsung Galaxy A range - deal posted here.

    I received my Airpods and disappointed to see its grey stock. eBay description says '100% AUSTRALIAN STOCK' but what has been sent is Malaysian stock.

      Have replied to your PM. This model is Australian Stock, not grey stock. With airpods, model numbers may be shared with diference region, in this case this model is shared with Asia Pacific region. That's why there are multiple languages as well. This item is AU stock though, and you'll be covered by Apple Store warranty.

      Also the packaging photo you provided shows the A-Tick/RCM Compliance label so it met ACMA/Australian Government standards:

      they are genuine AU stock airpods regardless of where they were made.
      I bought one from Apple and they came from Malaysia as well!

      I have checked my AirPods 1 packaging, purchased from Apple store, the packaging is actually say "for Malaysia" too, so I guess all Aus stock is like that ,with 2 years warranty.
