WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Passengers travelling on Singapore Airlines (SQ) and/or SilkAir (MI) ticketed and operated flights into and out of Singapore with 13 digits e-ticket numbers begin with 618, 629 or 086. This benefit will also be extended to passengers taking the following flight numbers: SQ4281, SQ4282, SQ4283, SQ4284, NZ281, NZ282, NZ283, NZ284, NZ295 or NZ296 (operated by Air New Zealand) and TR596 or TR597 (operated by Scoot).

Transit means a layover at Changi Airport of not more than 24 hours. This is calculated from the Scheduled Time of Arrival (STA) of the arriving flight into Changi Airport to the Scheduled Time of Departure (STD) of the connecting departure flight out of Changi Airport.

It's worth noting that it is only up until March next year.

    • Thats already set in the deal post.

      • Ahh I see. In the years I've been using OZB Ive never noticed that little date field. But there ya go.

OP you are being pedantic by putting (AUD) $21.50 in title, as opposed to the actual value of voucher in local currency.
It should be S$20 in title

    Reasons:

    1) We are not paying for the voucher, so we dont need to convert to equivalent Aussie money.
    2) You can only use it inside of Changi Airport in Singapore. It's not as if you can bring those dollars to Australia to spend and would like to know the equivalent.

OP or mods, so as not to confuse readers, please change it to SGD S$20 and SGD S$130

Its not confusing. This is ozbargin not cheap cheap la.

For people to determine whether it is a deal or not they need to be able to value it in aud. E.g. if a random country was having a free 6500 of their currency which is posted here, how do we know if its a deal or not? Is 6500 worth $2 aud or $200 aud?. Putting it in aud creates context.

If you look at other deals on this website alot of items are sold in us dollars but in the post its converted to aud. Its normal practice.

Your 200 essay post pretty confusing tbh.

      • May be confusing, but if you are a OzBargain regular, you would have noticed any deals from other countries/overseas websites have both local and Aussie currency listed in title !

Too late. I already got confused before reading your comment.

    • I 100% agree with updating title to SGD amount instead of converting. Take a look at all previous changi deal and its clear that they have a $20 SGD promo.

  • Should also note that the claim process is really slow. Long line and they have few staff processing. Not really worth lining up unless you have a really long layover and nothing else to do.

Depends on the time you're in transit.
The two times i've claimed my voucher, there has either been noone there, or 1-2 people in front of me in the line.

    • Our plane arrived late into Singapore leaving us less than an hour before next flight. One person in front of me when I arrived at the counter. Managed to get 4 vouchers and get to duty free shop and purchase spirits which were then taken directly to our gate for our next flight. It was a rush but worth doing for 3 free litre bottles of gin!

  • I have a layover for 1 hour 5 minutes at Singapore, do i have sufficient time to collect this, and change terminal too?

    What is the $130 discount?
