Or You can get it for $1999 @ JB Hi-Fi or HN if that is nearby ;-)

The Mavic 2 Zoom from DJI is a professional quality film making drone that gives you the ability to get closer to the action, thanks to its 2x 24-48mm optical zoom camera with a 1/2.3" 12MP sensor. With 4x lossless zoom (including 2x optical zoom) you can capture sensitive subjects from an even greater distance. There's even a single-tap aerial mode called Dolly Zoom that gives a Hitchcockian effect to your footage.

The Mavic 2 Zoom utilizes a low-drag aerodynamic body design for achieving speeds up to 47.7 mph, a four-cell LiPo battery for up to 31 minutes of flight time, and low-noise propellers for filming without being distracting. This power and performance are coupled with a variety of shooting modes and capabilities for cinematic results.

In order to help keep the Mavic 2 Zoom safe and in control, DJI has provided OcuSync 2.0 video transmission technology that can transmit a video feed to the included controller from up to 5 miles away in Full HD 1080p quality. There's also omnidirectional obstacle sensing that provides object avoidance with sensors on all sides of the Mavic 2 Zoom.

    someone woke up

9:40am - "Sorry, we can't find the page you're looking for!"

  • It's no longer on the website. Got taken off.

  • Don’t waste your time they are cancelling orders

    • Well this is awkward

  • Page not found on bunnings website…..

  • Not sure how JB can confirm a Bunnings price error, but either way it was a no from them

LOL lets say wholesale price is $700 its fairly easy to confirm .

  • Unobtainable

  • Just went to the local bunnings store ( Nunawading , VIC ) and they said all the existing orders will be cancelled as this is a pricing error.

  • Late to the party :( The page is gone.

  • +15

All those that have called them
Up or gone in need to have their ozbargain license suspended. The only remote hope this had was an automatic process between online sale and dispatch. Once you bring the the human element in questions are asked

    • +4

Agree 100% with this. Once someone called, it drew the attention of a person to the error and killed it for everyone.

  • -2

Put my order through at 7.40 with a confirmation page (screenshotted) - but still haven't got an email receipt. When they cancel I hope I get a refund…..

    • Give it a few days then call so their call enter can recovery

  • +1

Link is now dead :( I clicked it, it worked, now a 404 error!

  • Page Down..!!!

Enough for bunnings this morning, GET BACK TO WORK!

  • Well at least we had a great morning today :)

  • website now 404's when you try to open the page.
best of luck for those who ordered

  • aaaaaaaaaaand its gone

  • Must of been an error. Has been taken off site now.

  • dammit, gone mid checkout…

  • +2

yes we know its 404'd lets all keep commenting the same thing lol

  • +1

OP, I hope you got one for yourself before posting on ozbargains, its the best way to make sure they realise and take it down…

  • I got the Paypal confirmation email, but no Bunnings confirmation email. I checked out as a guest, what are my chances?

    • +1

ZERO - Confirmed price error and they won't be honouring this deal :(

      • And what would your backing source be?

        • Common sense that retailers don't sell $2000 drones for $300

    • Yeh slim

  • -3

Called store, pricing error, will be cancelling/refunding over the next few days.

  • +16

I was waiting for a confirmation mail and got my water bill :(

    • +2

hahaha, sorry dude, but your comment totally made my morning.

Perhaps a karmic lesson for online fueled greed? (Just joking, I tried to take advantage of it too but never managed to place an order)

  • +1

So how many of you got a Bunnings Digital Receipt tax invoice? I got it smsd and emailed to myself after the order

  • the product was originally posted under the Laser Measures category. Probably messed up the product codes or something.

  • -3

fast and furioused straight to my local store special ordered 4 of them, while the phones were going off crazy, they called Head Office and apparently while stop any more orders and are calling those with special orders for a refund and under the special orders fine print:

"We reserve the right to cancel any order (in full or part) where: (i) you are in breach of your payment obligations to Bunnings; (ii) Bunnings reasonably suspects that you are purchasing Goods for the purposes of resale or resupply; (iii) Bunnings becomes aware after order confirmation that the good is out of stock; or (iv) there has been a genuine pricing or product description error by Bunnings or its supplier. We will refund any amount already paid in respect of any cancelled order (and in the case of part cancellation of an order, we will refund the the amount paid that relates to the cancelled portion of the order)."

highly doubt they will fulfil my order or others but thanks OP !!!

  • +1

Just received Bunnings order confirmation. I'm still expecting this to be cancelled but there is a faint hope it doesn't :p

    "Thanks! We’ve received your order

    Hi xx xx

Thank you for your order – we’ll be in touch soon to let you know when your order is ready for collection.
Please ensure you bring this order confirmation and photo ID to collect in store."

    • what time did you order?

      • 7:45

    • Through PayPal?

      • +2

        Yep

  • +1

not sure what their legal obligations are to honour. my simple understanding was "offer and acceptance". the site SAYS the price was correct so how can they then say it wasnt?

    • None.

I missed this. I'd have bought one too without any hopes of getting the order fulfilled. :-)

Hope you all get it. All the best!

    • yeah i always find it a bit funny the can say we cancel order due to price error but if it was in bunnings favour would they cancel the oder or hope you don't notice….It would be nope shame on you.

    • In the USA they will be forced to honour it, but not here.

    • Because the terms and conditions that you accepted when you placed the order state that they have the right to cancel orders in the case of genuine price error.

  • +1

It was fun while it lasted :)

  • i called 2 stores to order.
artarmon told me it was an error.
gordon told me it's been recalled by the supplier…whatever that means.
i dont think the will honour unless they legal have to and told to.

  • -6

    weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • +3

class action. lets call slater and gordon and get julia back on the job! haha

  • +1

Wonder how many they "sold"? Few thousand pretty easily by the sounds.

    • for sure. sounds like there are more than a few people who tried to buy multiple units

      • +9

yeah most of those are greedy who'd put them on ebay or gumtree ruin it for the majority you can see from the guys ordering 4 or 10 for "mates".

        • +1

          this ^

          • +1

@harivision: Bunnings might have an alert when significant quantities are ordered. pretty abnormal for 10 drones to be ordered. would stick out like a sore thumb.

            • +4

@misguided_will: I was in-store and some guy was trying to order 10 at the special orders desk - idiot.

            • +1

@misguided_will: Interestingly their Terms and Conditions or whatever call that out, that they reserve the right to cancel your order if they suspect you are buying the items for re-sale.

  • -1

If anyone wants to buy mine for $1998 HMU. New in box.

    • What about I buy yours and you pay me $1998 instead.

    • +1

      ill buy it for $298?

  • As mentioned above, if you have a Bunnings Power Pass you can still order online https://i.imgur.com/lpsecnA.png

    • I did this with my powerpass account, just got the call saying "genuine price error, no substitute, blah blah, order cancelled"

      • Same

  • +1

We all knew this would get cancelled, and yet we all still placed orders.

    • +5

      Hope drives mankind

    • Just been in store, from what I was told it appears no orders will go out at that pricing. As it was an error and no stock was on hand anywhere, oh well nice try for all of us! Surly bought some excitement to the morning!

      • That's what was expected… and don't call me Shirley!

    • They gave me a $40 gift card for the hassle lol. Ill take it.

      • Thats pretty good.

  • Tried to order online for 30 minutes at home rather than drive 5 minutes to Bunnings around the corner haha. Now I'm sitting at the Special Orders desk trying to slip an order in. Lady is trying to find out what's going on, says they're in isolation like other OzBargainers have said earlier

    • +2

People are soooo..stu… Already expired as pricing error… And people are continuing to try their luck.

  • Looks like they have taken it down.
    Must have been pricing error.

  • +4

placed order at 7:50 just got order confirmation at 9:50

  • @# it so I not going to get the drones for me , wifey , few kids , dog , 9 fish and 25 trees : (

  • 404 error

  • +3

    Bunnings called. Order cancelled.

    • +2

I'd like see them calling 10000 customers to cancel orders lol.

      • +7

Saving $1000 per phone call. They will do it for sure

      • VOIP and free calls within Australia is quite common. I don't see why they wouldn't.
Also, some people ordered 10 so that's 1 call to cancel 10 orders.

    • What time did you put your order through?

      • Dunno..about 2 hours ago roughly.

        It's dead.

        • Sounds made up

          • @King Steuart: It's genuine. They called and said it's a pricing error. Was for a special orders one.

I also have an online order (including receipt). Haven't heard anything yet on that.

    • +4

if I don't answer, they can't cancel my order

      • +2

Only if you paid by cash. But, even so, if you don't want your cash back, that's fine.

From info provided by other OZBers, this is kinda Bunnings MarketPlace, so this deal/typo is from a third party seller and that seller obviously stuffed up. If that's the case, then no one from Bunnings will be fired… Sure, you can try to give Bunnings staff a hard time, but you will be barking at the wrong tree.

Show some class as an OZBer… move on… there is always another bargain around the corner.

      • +10
  • Just curiously, anyone know what that cost price of these are or how you find out the cost price of stuff is? As in, how much do the stores get it for?

    • +1

Not many people would have access to this info. At best Bunnings staff would have a lowest selling price allowed.

      • definitely not below $500 given the amount of technology incorporated into these gadgets

  • +1

Yeah they will cancel all orders……!

    • +1

      refer to my below response.

  • Yeah they will cancel all orders……!

    • +8

yeh, we heard you the first time ;)

      • sounds like Tom is salty he missed the deal

  • -3

I can't believe people thought they'd actually get one at that price. What a waste of time and energy.

    • +1

so much energy wasted…omg unbelievable /s

      • It is for no return when you consider the people that went store and physically bought it, who now have to return to the store to get their money back, hardly worth it when they were clearly never going to honor a 1700 price difference and lose a stack of money on it

        • So people actually managed to get on at the store for $298?

If only they paid cash and wore a disguise.

      • I energy wasted on recouping your money and bitching how you didn't get a drone.

Read the next few pages……I rest my case.

  • Good luck everyone!

Paypal payment went through at around 8am and still no confirmation email.

Is the Bunnings order number same as Paypal's invoice number which begins with W100?

    • +1

      Yep
