The Miele's always rate highly in suction power and very low in allergen particles emitted, so they are a up the top of the list in terms of vacuum quality. Above Dyson at least
If you can find a source for discounted HN giftcards, you can get it a few bucks cheaper. Only place I could find with a brief search is Sunsuper

If these are as good as the old ones then they should last for a while. Mine's lasted 20+ years with a period of time I didn't even use a filter AND bag in it…
It only died when I accidentally used it as a wet and dry.

I pulled it apart to see if I could fix what was wrong, and the thick fabric matting that the motor sat on was completely soaked through. They're tough, but they're evidentially not made to work underwater
is this china or germany ?
