      I'm in the same boat. I suspect 95/100 that claim these courses just hoard them. A few years ago I gave my login to a buddy who was unemployed. He spent a year going through every damn course I had in the library (most were obtained free) (e.g easy to advanced programming, design courses etc), anyway he ended up getting a job from that and was so good they upgraded him later on (he's on $150K/year now)… all thanks to these free courses.. For the majority of us, I suspect these tuts just remain hoarded with no real use. As they say, it's what we do with what we have that matters :P

      So, if there's a way to Rate the Course + guy,
      maybe give him feedback & "warn" others (ie,
      'til he improves his style)

      Sometimes, it can be as simple as them moving
      the mic. closer the mouth.

      The Thorium Community clips 2x updgraded MP3-
      players/recorders onto the lapels of speakers'
      shirts to optimize audio quality.

      (I suppose wearing a comfortable headset with
      boom mic. may be easier… dunno if it's much
      different than the Th-Community's method…)

      Check the sample videos and then you can decide. PHP isn't something worth getting into nowadays. You are better off learning React and Angular.

      With IT and these training materials, unless you are after fundamentals, pretty much every course is at best up to date for 1 year.
