  I have the blue one of these which is quite old but I've never understood these "upgrades"

  The USB will output 2A on a regular device, this has a max of 3.4A across all the USB devices.

  This means that only one device can charge at full speed.

  Not only that but I would have thought they would have phone fast charging.
