These controllers seem to have a problem with drifting sticks. Numerous posts on here state that purchases from those two retailers in particular have beeN resold.

So essentially, and allegedly, people return their recently purchased controllers with drifting sticks, and those retailers are reboxing them to re-sell in hopes that the next person won't notice and return? Wouldn't they just ship it back to the manufacturer?
@mudkipz: Must admit I do find that odd. However I’ve sent off so many controllers back to MS since I’ve had my Xbox One With various issues that I’ve had some replaced with other faulty ones so it’s an issue you may have all round the board.
I ordered Tuesday night, received controller this morning. The box had the sticker intact, but looking closer I noticed it had TWO stickers. I peeled back with tweezers, instead of cutting, and it was obvious that original sticker had been cut open, and a fresh one just lazily slapped over it. I couldn't see any obvious signs of use on the controller, except a long faint scratch on the faceplate. Still included sealed AA batteries.
Not sure if it's worth the hassle to follow up with Kogan about it.
P.S. Haven't had a chance to actually test controller yet.
It's a bit strange hey? But if it works well, then no drama. If you can think of a good reason to open and reseal it, let me know…
Yeah, nothing obviously wrong with it. I tested it in a couple of games and no noticeable drift or other problems. It did ask for a PIN when I first tried to connect, so just kept trying a couple more times and finally connected without needing a PIN. Overall a good purchase for PC gaming with a controller.
So with Bluetooth, these are the newer model that comes with the One S.

The box is re-sealed. There is another seal on top of the original seal (The original seal is broken).
Also, there is an unremovable dirt mark (2mm) between button Y and B.
This item is sold as a new item while obviously someone used it. I haven't tried if it's able to switch on.

not sure, mine like just about everybody's had 2 stickers, but the controller itself has zero marks on it, looks brand new. Tested it and works fine, absolutely love the color. I have to say that color wise for controllers microsoft leaves sony for dead.
