  • Any idea if I can mount this monitor https://www.asus.com/au/Monitors/VX248H/?

    • +1

Doesn't look like it has any VESA mount points. So no.

    • +1

No it can't be mounted as it doesn't have a vesa mount.

It doesn't look like it has the VESA mounting holes at the back of it, nor does it specify it in the specifications.

Both my monitors had them at the back (4 screw holes) and were mounted no problems.

Edit: lol beaten by the two comments above :)

You could always buy a VESA mount adaptor for non-VESA compatible monitors. Something like this

  • wonder how it compares to the North Bayou dual arms that I got from previous deals - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/481559

  • From the user manual the maximum height for this is 41.3cm and length (reach) from centre is 47cm per arm.

  • I have this if anyone has any questions.

    • I've never used a mount before. Do these work on a glass top table?

      • Might be too much weight in one spot? Depends how thick the glass is

    • How do you find it? I am thinking of getting this but only have one monitor at the moment

    • How do these hold up? I have this from Kogan https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/fully-adjustable-dual-monitor-a… and find that there's a slight drop in my monitors after any adjustment as it "settles" no matter how much I tighten the joints.

Really annoying because I will align it dead straight only to have the monitors drop 4 or 5 degrees from vertical.

You have to usually set it a bit higher and then after a while, it'll "drop" into the right angle that you want it at. That's usually what I do and it works pretty well.

That said, I've never really been a fan of these "gas lift" type mounts, I find that there are always reliability issues and they almost always sag after long term use. I prefer fixed mounts - they're a bit harder to set up and you have to get the exact right mount, but once they're done right, they're immovable. I once moved an entire table with a fixed mount still on and the monitors stayed exactly at the right angle.

  • Good price but need a dual 32" monitor mount :/

  • +1

Hated mine, kept sagging. Could never get them to align.

  • can I use it to mount one 27" monitor and one 32" TV?

    • Should be able to? How heavy is the tv?

  • Please be aware, I bought this dual mount stand and the audio channel for left and right was swapped on the cable. Asked them about it and got a replacement but it had the same problem. Microphone jack is also mono. Other than that, pretty good stand for this price.
