Yes, it is the 6th Gen. The one I went to had Gold and Silver in stock only

Checked with officeworks Clarence street Sydney and they said they can't price beat clearance sale.

It's weird that according to Geekbench the 6th Gen iPad is faster than the 7th (current) Gen iPad in all measures (single core, multi core and metal).
