How long does the costco special run for?

This ipad model just keeps getting cheaper and cheaper, so do we hold or hit?

      Costco special ends 14th May

clearly didnt click the link smh

  • lots of stores OOO, do they take backorders?

Also remember to pair with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/904479 + discounted GCs.

    • They do just put in the order and pick it up a few days later.

In my case it took 2 days.

Edit: If you intend to use a bunch of gift cards don't go during a time where there isn't a lot of people and have the pin scratched and ready to go. If they see you pull out a stack of cards and there is a long line you might be limited in how many cards you can use.

I love making everyone wait while I scratch my pins off of all my $1 officeworks GC's to buy a $500 product.

    • Where to purchase discounted GCs? Was considering a Kobo but I’d rather an iPad for this price!

Was a better deal yesterday when they price beat Costco's $479.99 for $455.99

TheGoodGuys price matched to $479 for me in-store

Further the SMS $30 discount previously mentioned was also able to be applied

    Down to $449 on backorder.

    • What's this $30 discount?

    • Did exactly the same as you this afternoon. The $30 voucher discount was an added bonus. Paid with 8 Ultimate gift cards. It wasnt busy at all at the counter so was very smooth process.

  • That's a good deal. Should've waited 6ish months to pick this up instead of the previous gen iPad

  • How does this compare to the iPad Pro 10.5 (A10x)?

    • go to apple website and do a specs comparison.

  • Can someone check what firmware version these are out of the box?

    • You going to mod chip it to play Switch games?

  • So I'm an android person.
And I'm tempted. Would it be terrible to get this?

Mostly used for office apps where there's an apps for both android and apple.

I'm after something at this price or less with an option for a decent oen input. I'm only doing basic tasks but like it to be snappy.

Microsoft apps run very well on iPad OS, so do Google apps. There will always be subtle differences and quirks. For those finer details/differences I suggest you watch some YouTube videos with the differences in apps. I am totally an android person, cannot use an iPhone (I tried). But ever since I used an iPad for productivity, my Samsung tab S8+ is catching dust and I use the Samsung tab only to consume content/music

      • +1

I am the opposite, I have an S8+ as well and an iPad Pro, but prefer S8+ for light productivity work (using Dex) and ipad for media consumption.

    • I went from a galaxy tab to the 10th gen ipad - it's a great product. Great hardware, fast, nice screen, good speakers, big app store. Great price too for this 11th gen.

    • one thing i wish i had known is the ios versions of some apps are watered down to be pointless (due to apples requirements). eg. firefox isn't actually firefox, there are no extensions for it, no ad block.

    • Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE $473.76 outright @optus

  • Any idea when this offer expires?

    • Whenever Costco raises their price I guess.

  • Thanks saved me $10 more… Will hit Officeworks tomorrow
