Original Coupon Deal

I have been looking to pick one of these up for quite some time and like most Weber products sold in Australia they never seem to reduce from their RRP price tag.

RRP for this is $249 so whilst not an amazing discount its still something.

  • For what it is even at the deal price it is over priced

Agreed. As are all Weber products really.

Only went with this and not a AliExpress copy as I wanted to ensure a tight fit on the 57cm Kettle. Have read that this is not always the case with the knock off versions.

At least most of the time with Weber it means a good quality product.

      • Maybe, but Weber set the benchmark when it comes to build quality and warranties.

Which other company gives you free replacement parts 10 years down the road, should something break or not work?

This is actually a very good price. Cost on these is $200.
Accessories run at 20% and BBQs run at 28% profit margin.

Given Weber's warranty reputation it's a good deal.. Good BBQ things are expensive.

  • I’ve had one of these for 15 years, they work great, I’ll often use it with a rotisserie basket
The price reflects the quality of the product. It’s heavyduty, you cant really compare this with type of junk they sell at bunnings. It’s not in the same category.

    • Not to mention in 50 year's time you'll STILL be able to get spare parts for it, no other company does this.

  • Could make one with an AC duct joiner and a $20 rotisserie through it.

    • almost. Duct joiners are probably galvanised; I wouldn't cook with that. Maybe a bit of stainless sheet and some rivets. ~$50.
